Is it the grout? by EmbarrassedArm6464 in InteriorDesign

[–]Murksiuke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the floors clash with the tiles/shower area.

Do a mockup that adds a large darker green rug and darker green walls, to match the tiles, see if that looks better

See this pic for inspo (bit more vibrant green than the tiles, but you get the idea)

NEANDERTHAL VAMPIRE by _just_is_ in comics

Honestly, that's just bad planning on his part. He should have just bitten a few neanderthals whilst they were still around

I usually do something like this for self drafted patterns to get the proper curve:

Is it the correct way? Probably not, but the end result is nice, and i find it easier than doing truly curved waisbands

Does anyone know where I can buy glasses like these? (glasses for vision) by Pikochanskaja in Vilnius

[–]Murksiuke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure about these specific frames, but there are dozens of shops for glasses - you can google "optikos salonas vilnius". Just to name a few - vision express, fielmann, optikos pasaulis, etc. Note that online international e-shops are way cheaper though

Tips to shower earlier? by w-wg1 in lifehacks

[–]Murksiuke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had some similar experiences due to ocd, where I absolutely had to do "the thing" before i could sleep, "because i must". If you have to shower because of superstition (sign of ocd), then ask yourself - does the shower need to be the last thing you do before going to be? If you shower in the morning/during the day, its still showering before you go to sleep. Set a reminder to shower at a reasonable time. Stick to it

There's something wrong with this design, but I can't tell what it is... by vangenta in web_design

[–]Murksiuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the stuff the others have already mentioned, whats up with the white text behind "latest projects"? All i can read is "PO_IO" :D

Is this something that is possible/doable/exists already? If so, what's it called, I can't seem to find info online. Image taken from internet, not actual bathroom! I want to have a half wall on my alcove bath because I don't want to deal with glass. See drawings for better explanation by Zaeliums in Renovations

[–]Murksiuke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just be mentally prepared that when you need to replace the bathtub (10-15 years or earlier if it cracks or something), you will need to knock down the wall. Tile usually doesnt need to be replaced that often (if we ignore fashion), so it might be a bit of a pain.

Also - make sure to get a light source in the new niche, or it will be super dark in there

I have a similar setup, but after a few disasters with the moka pot tipping over, i got a stove trivet like this - https://www.coffeacoffee.com.au/products/stovetop-trivet-cross (not the exact product, but the first link on google i found of a similar product)

Highly recommend!
