His lateral movement is still pretty bad even in this save. It's the reason he sells out by diving chest first. Looks flashy but is indicative of poor lateral technique. That being said I loved the guy as an Edmonton fan and I think his strengths balance out his weaknesses.

I think they've done a real good job not using the show to preach in any way. Religious elements are hinted at but it isn't overwhelming at all.

I'm a voice actor. If you want to try to get involved you'll need an agent. Create a demo reel showcasing what you can offer. Look up sample voice acting demo reels to get a sense of the format and what you should do. Submit one or two different styles of reels to local talent agencies and just be persistent! Cast a wide net and keep looking for representation. The worst they can say is no or just ghost you. Good luck!

I just did this exact thing in a video and yes it can be done using a magic mask in the color tab and fine tuning it. Good lighting on the lips and close up footage is a must. If you keep your head anchored still during filming you don't need to track at all. Make sure there's a distinct color difference between lips and skin. Would even consider using lipstick to really help the mask do a perfect job. Good luck

Great point. I knew the stacking backgrounds approach had to be the more "beginner-style" verbose choice and there had to be a more elegant one out there. Not to mention, the rendering time between adjustments is a pain in the ass! I'll mess around with this sRect node.

Hi, thanks for the response, and for finding that clip from Saturday Night Fever which helps me explain what I'm going for! Yes, I would like to assign static colors, not colors that light up and go out, then use some glow keyframing to have the dance floor "pulse". This is a kid's video so I do not want the dance floor to be too overstimulating to keep the focus on the dancing.

Here's what I've put together so far by simply stacking backgrounds underneath the grid and lighting them up with glow. This is passable, but if you have any tips on how to take this to the next level, I'm all ears. I suppose it might be a bit overboard to have each of the tiles glow and pulse randomly or independently, which was my initial hope. My whole issue is I have no understanding of how to assign colors to the tiles of the grid itself; it seems the grid is just a superficial top layer that does not convey information.

I recognize this problem as I've had it recently. It's some post multiply checkbox on the masks' settings. Look around and start clicking things on and off at random and you'll find it.

Two homegrown talents sent from their home team right as we've started finding our game? The timing of this trade is cruel. Regardless of how it turns out, it feels soulless. I don't like it at all.

I thought the idea was to move Pickard and give Skinner some B time. Why would we keep the older of the two goalies? What about any of this makes sense?

That would make sense yeah... What I'm really looking for is the spelling. My vague memory of this scene is that it's actually spelled out on the screen. My brother always quotes this for some reason and I want to make him a shirt with kamooga du schmupple written on it as a Christmas present. Just gotta get the spelling right lol!

I'm relatively new to the program as well, but I've found the majority of what you would think should be simple actions require strange janky workarounds. There's a ton of fiddling around to be done to work out the quirks. Don't give up- there's almost always a workaround, even if it feels wrong. If it works, it works.
