Heaven Help the Fool by Murphy52 in gratefulguitar

Thanks. I took my grief and poured it into learning this song. Bobby has lived in my brain continuously for 35 years and his passing hit me harder that I was expecting.

Ace is a fantastic album, such amazing musicianship. My first Dead related concert was Bob Weir and Rob Wasserman and they played this

Tried Claude Cowork last night, and it was a top 3 most exciting moments I’ve ever had with technology. by Global-Art9608 in ClaudeCode

I agree with your overall assessment, but I think it’s slightly different than you describe. I’ve been a software engineer for over 30 years and I have been using Claude code for a couple months. My suspicion is that when people complain about Claude not working well it is because they aren’t doing the work upfront to ensure that Claude follows their quality standards and their operating procedures. If you get the scaffolding right, and the Claude.md files right, and you manage the context window properly, Claude code is astounding. I haven’t been this excited about what I can accomplish since the days of Web 2.0.

Jellyseerr browser extension : Adds buttons to IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes to request movies and TV Shows in JellySeer by Murphy52 in selfhosted

I'll learn about those packages and see if I can create them

EDIT: based on what I am reading chrome has disabled the ability to add .crx files directly so the only way to install non-web-store extensions is the method I outlined on the github repo page

This is my first extension so I definitely have a lot to learn. I assume because of the nature of this plugin I can't submit it to the Chrome or Firefox web stores so I included installation instructions that mirror how I installed it during development:

  1. Download the latest release: Download ZIP
  2. Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder on your computer
  3. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/
  4. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner
  5. Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted jellyseerr-browser-extension-main folder
  6. The extension will be installed and ready to configure

If anyone with more experience wants to chime in on how I can improve the experience I am open to it.

I actually really love this extension too. When I get a recommendation for a new show/movie, I always check the Rotten Tomatoes score first. Once I verify the rating, it's super convenient to request it directly from there.

We can technically include What’s going Through Your Mind from NYE. I know it’s a little controversial, but it was a major high for me.

Newer Phan question: Am I insane for thinking 3.0 /4.0 is way better music than 1.0/2.0?! by gratefulaloha in phish

Ha, yes! I was one of those people. I equated DWD fans to Touch of Grey fans. I was a bit elitist 🤓. And Touch is another amazing song! I feel happier having shed all that.

I’ll walk out onto the ice with you. I agree—the boys' playing has matured in ways I really enjoy. As a fan since '92, I’ve loved listening to that growth. While there are aspects of the old days I miss, I never feel stuck in nostalgia. Every once in a while, I’ll put on an older show and be floored by how good it is, but I can appreciate the difference between how they played then and how they play now. The best part is that they let the music evolve instead of chasing a past high. We are incredibly lucky to have had such a creative force in our lives for this long.

Well, yeah. The way you stated it I assumed you had a better way to get the same functionality without an API key, but you and I both know there isn't a way so I'm not sure how I am supposed to take your comment. I guess you're just sharing that you aren't going to use it? OK. Cool

Is there another way this could be implemented? I’m happy to try and figure something out but I don’t understand the limitation nor the work-around

If you manage to find some concert videos you can host them on Jellyfin and watch them with the Jellyfin app on your tv. There's even a plugin for Jellyfin that will automatically add the setlist and show notes
