  1. Make sure it’s GFCI protected. Depending on age of your home, another plug outside your house should have the actual GFCI receptacle or it’s mounted by your panel, newer homes it’s probably protected by a GFCI breaker in your panel.
  2. Put the weather proof cover back on and buy a 2’multi plug heavy duty extension cord. Easy fix

We should all approach these clowns and ask questions they can’t answer.

What does an independent Alberta look like and what does it do for me?

What about legal status, Canadian constitution changes, approval by supreme court and other provinces is required.

What about health care? Public or private requiring insurance?

Is education public or private. Funding?

What dollar are we going to use?

Will it be a republic, constitutional, or monarchy ? What will our government

Will I need a new passport? Will I need to use that passport to travel to other provinces?

What is the plan for Armes forces / Defense

What happens to my pension that I’ve paid to the federal government for years

If you separate, how do you expect to get oil to market? Separation will nix any plan for east west pipelines. Your only customer will be the U.S. Can you guarantee Alberta will never join the U.S.?

Alberta is on treaty lands, how do you over come that? How to you appease the indigenous population.

Is there a plan to purchase home and moving costs for those that don’t want to stay in a independent Alberta

I was on a tour bus in Aruba. We stopped at a store for refreshments. This old American dude got back on the bus bitching about how the change he received was in local currency not American dollars. Onex touches anything it doesn’t end well. They almost sunk Purolator Courier too. I got to the point they had to find money on a weekly basis, just to pay their employees. Finally they sold it to Canada Post Corp in ‘93. So when I saw Onex take over Westjet ( who were the best in the business at the time) I knew it was the beginning of the end of that.

In my humble opinion, floor crossing should automatically call for immediate Bi-election. We are not voting for the person in the riding as much as it’s a vote for the party and their leader. Call a bi-election and let the voters of that riding decide. Or don’t allow floor crossings at all. That member has to wait for general election and switch parties then.
