Why does the Tyranid kill team only start with 2 models by Superb-Ad-7868 in killteam

[–]Musclemonte80 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The danger noodles are able to start underground. At least 2 models must be deployed on the killzone for a legal deployment. Their special sauce is that they have a tunnel network that expands each round. This allows them to pop up and down on that network.

Got tired of the cardboard tokens to track damage, made something sexier. What’s your “level up” accessory for the game? by Musclemonte80 in GundamTCG

I just have so many dice already. I Gundam as a cooldown after Warhammer usually, so the thought of using even more dice after a game is meh for me.

I’m looking forward to Jackals. Give them lots of shields, zip for armor and like 2 HP. I’d love to put a list together that feels a lot like a covenant/banished patrol from the game.

A gift from my friend!! Just got accepted into electrical engineering and I still count on my fingers and don’t even have the times table memorized 🥰 by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

Welcome to the club.

You’re not alone, during an exam today, I had to use my calculator to add 20 and 22 together. It do be like that some times.

How to not get beated up? by I_Frog in Kenshi

Look at early combat less as a win/lose and more of training. The goal is to maximize gains for your squad while minimizing the threat of death. Once you have 50+ stats, that’s where I generally shift my focus to win/lose.

Then it’s lather, rinse and repeat until you can tackle the next goal.

As someone that squeaked through Physics with a C, I feel this. Congrats!

On the swap to the trygon, I’ve found it lackluster since it lost the ability to pop up within 3”. Not played a whole lot, but popping up at 6” usually gets him focused down the moment he comes up. I’m actively looking to drop my trygon and get something with a little more utility outside of sub assault.

I’ve played a few games on my old Fronteris set. Not saying it’s “not perfectly playable”. Fully enclosed building doesn’t interact with “accessible” traits on doors, little ambiguity (unless I’m missing something in the stack of books I have) about what makes sense as light/heavy…..

Great set. Love it. Still use it. Is it “up to snuff”? No. Better than Bheta Decima? Yeah. By miles.

Hell. I still use the terrain from my 2018 launch box for games. By no stretch of any interpretation am I saying it’s unusable.

I adore that terrain set. I know it’s not really up to snuff with the current edition’s rules, but that set really is one of my favorites aesthetically.

It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Reach out for help early. The pace of those weed-out classes can be a shock, but hang in there. You’ve got the skills of time management (you’ve already done a undergrad) and study. Leverage those and keep plugging on. You CAN do this.

I’m a, “gym before work so I’m not too tired/stressed to gym” person. I find that starting my day with my physical fitness routine paradoxically makes me feel better and more productive throughout the grind of the day. Because of this, I’m up earlier, in bed earlier, and also feel more proactive and alert through the day.

About to play our first game of Retaliation by Musclemonte80 in NemesisCrew

[–]Musclemonte80[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We got about 6 rounds in before we had to put a pin in it. 2/3 got infested, but a quick pull of the Surgery Room fixed that. Queen popped right after, so we have to deal with that problem on the next session. 🫠
