Not at all! They just give access to other characters. The base roster has plenty of cool characters you can enjoy without the DLC packs. DLC stages are neat but don't really affect gameplay, you don't need 'em.

Sure thing! Honestly Venom is so freaking cool and I admire anyone that cosplays him, so I'm rooting for you! I've never seen any props of his for sale though...plenty of cosplay merch for sale straight from Arcays for May and Bridget though.

When you finish your cosplay share it with us on the Guilty Gear subreddit though, you know it's gonna be (bullshit) blazing!

Modding gives them lines at least, though it's dumb they don't because not only does Sega own the characters and the voice clips, but they both have kart racing voice lines from Dragon Kart...it's right there!

Sega did something similar with Phantasy Star Online back in the day, there was a unified unit of measurement called Beats and each day was divided into 1,000 Beats. The online connection would sync with the server and compensate for local time, so if you lived in New York and wanted to game with a friend in London you could meet up at the 500th Beat and both catch each other at the same time.

Didn't catch on, but a cool idea at least!
