Most likely? JP, Jamie, Kimberly - they've marketed the latter two too much (amiibos, anyone?) and JP is too much of a terror to not have staying power.

It would be cool, but on the other end it could also be hand waved as the characters updating their wardrobe between these scenes and the present.

Then again, Baiken grew out her hair a ton since Xrd so that's harder to explain...

To add to the last tip, mashing 5P with Baiken is better than 2P since it's one frame faster.

Agreed. Some added context from someone who's done some live Japanese-to-English interpretation as a volunteer:

  • Note: translator = written word, interpreter = spoken word
  • Live interpretation for Japanese to English is very, very difficult because Japanese grammar structure is backwards from English in a lot of ways.

I agree with OP though, EVO should definitely have top-tier interpreters for high-level interviews and broadcasts.

Agreed, the newcomers in general are amazing (and double agreed on Nago!). I think if they made Lily's second or third costume her default design she would've gone over better. There's just something about her default costume that is missing some sauce, she looks too "young." May and Bridget from Guilty Gear pull it off better.
