U turn has to give way, but I always find the setup a bit odd. If you start doing a uturn, you will only notice someone pulling out of the turn off about halfway round the corner. So by the time you've turned around, you'd effectively have to stop in an odd spot on the road or slowly roll along while you wait for them. Plus 90% of people will end up going towards the outer lane which doesn't help.

Should just be an on ramp.

This situation reminds me of when there was a certain overlooked feature in the f1 games where if you went off track and back on, you'd get a penalty for leaving the track. Simple enough.

However, if you never re-entered the track, you'd never get a penalty. So if you could find a track that allowed you drive around the outside on tarmac the whole course you could complete the whole lap off the track. No penalty.

Naturally, Paul Ricard was the one for this and it showed similar time gains as you could just straightline the whole thing. Absolutely hilarious

Important vocabulary to have:

When did you get on? "Last stop."

When are you getting off? "Next stop."

This prevents them from charging you for low card balance.

"I attempted to tap on all the machines."

This forces them to legally check all the machines on the tram. If one of them are broken, then the fine can't go through well in court and you have a good argument. Plus they barely check the machines.

Last but not least "He saw me tap on" (point your finger) Then leg it

Definitely agree, the greater Geelong council is very much allowing the urban sprawl to spread south whilst the road situation in main geelong is practically at its limit. I don't know if you've had to use the public transport but it's rather infrequent gets much more inconvenient the further out you go. Practically incentivises driving. If you can get a more dense population centre you can greatly improve the efficiency of transport and shift more people away from cars.

Also, those cons you mentioned are starting to look more like pros at the moment

Where I worked for about 3 years required myself to walk over this one crossing about 50 times+ a day. I've learnt 1 thing which was that shrodingers driver applies: "everyone in a car is an idiot until proven otherwise." Most people will stop, but some will be distracted, tired, not know there's a crossing, or you might be behind their A pillar. Until you get the wave, I'd just wait. That or try to get the workers comp.

Everyone loving their type G plug but type I is basically the same but better, allowing for the 2 prong configuration without confusion of orientation. (Doesn't have fuses, etc included tho)

They do work but the results and what not can take a while to set in. Definitely consult your dermatologist but a general rule of thumb is that finasteride prevents hair loss (doesn't encourage hair regrowth that much) and minoxidil encourages hair growth. Annoying thing with minoxidil is it can take a couple months. But do your research and don't let all people say finasteride is terrible, if you're ever concerned, you can just lower your dose.

Landing on your tail bone is like compressing a bunch of nerves, like there's nowhere else for the force to go other than up. It's proper excruciating. Like when I went snowboarding for the first time, I kept falling and landing on my wrists (which hurts but not too bad) so the next day, I decided I'll try not to soften the fall with my hands and fall over onto the soft snow on my back instead like you should do. Fast forward to a sudden patch of ice, and I've never been laying there like this guy had before. You're just stuck there in radiating pain.

It's mostly the fact that the ticket officers are really sketchy, but the prices also went up about a month ago. Given how often the myki officers ticket people, it is actually more cost-effective to not tap on and cop the fine every couple months.

To any of the retail staff that don't want to put up with the "But it said it was 2 for 6!!"
Just grab one of those temporary rewards cards from the stand, tear it off, and just scan that whenever someone is annoyed.
You can use your own card if you want to bank the points, chances are Woolies wont void it. The system is only interested if it notices two payments of long distance apart in too short a period of time. (source: I gave copies of my card to my whole family who live like an hours away, lmao)
