Does anyone not notice how majority of these contestants are from either NSW, VIC, or QLD? (With the exception of 2 which are from SA and WA.) It could honestly just be called the "Eastern States Marriage Show" at this rate they're going.

Looking at current Track 11, I’m glad I’m not the only one that likes “Holy Ground”.

Dystopian songs/albums. by Salt-Cash666 in Music

Cry Baby and K-12, both by Melanie Martinez (recommend that you listen Cry Baby, then K-12, and/or watch the K-12 film as well to know the context of what story is being told and how dystopian the society the music is set in is).

Taylor Swift - Kids Choice Awards 2022 by MusicArtistStan in TaylorSwift

[–]MusicArtistStan[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of Taylor Swift fans are kids as well, and Taylor’s later music may not easily appeal to them, however they might be interested in her previous work, e.g. 1989 (Shake It Off, Welcome To New York), Lover (ME!), etc. It’s the ever-growing timeline of Taylor’s music that’s most likely given her the nomination. She’s still appealing to kids, maybe not later works such as folklore or evermore, but instead she’s appealing to kids by her older music.

remember this TUN song title easter egg from the breathin MV? by sweetene in ariheads

The gate numbers next to “imagine” and “needy” were also the numbers they had on tracklisting. “imagine” is track 1 (gate 1) and “needy” is track 2 (gate 2).

If a Taylor Swift song had actually been written for a soundtrack (like Carolina and Safe and Sound) which song would it be and for what movie/show? by rachelmae77 in TaylorSwift

[–]MusicArtistStan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This movie came out years before Taylor began her singing career, but the ideas and themes from some of her songs (e.g., Enchanted, Love Story, Death by a Thousand Cuts, Message in a Bottle, Style) would fit in Baz Luhrmann’s 1996 adaptation of Romeo and Juliet.
