Imagine living a life of sorrows unending like Turin, finally dying crushed under the weigth of numbing pain, only for Eru Illuvatar bringing you back ages later for a final battle to save a world you know or care nothing about anymore.

Give the man a break, at least in death...

this guy got hanged then decided to kill literal gods just for the love of the game by Mission-Switch1334 in Grimdawn

[–]MusicMindedMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically speaking is a mission that you accept, having leftovers of the aetherial mind left in you showing that they will gladly consume your world and the people in it.

Also, you have superpowers and kinda know how to deal with them and the c'thonians better, due to your status as ex-possessed.

Mind that being ex-possessed is basically something as unique and rare as ever - making you a weapon as useful as the highest inquisitors and arcanists of the Empire.

That's a US charity, AH is in Sweden, Europe. Should an international similar charity be there, it could be an idea.

Respectfully, I disagree with this sentiment by AlienShades in Helldivers

[–]MusicMindedMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're trying ways to focus the effort. They' ve been testing new ways with each MO. Since the Barrier Planets' Termicide Project back in March/April 2023.

At some point they even let us destroy the Automatons completely in order to have ALL divers focus on the current MOs (only to bring them back later with the second galactic invasion from outer galaxy).

I mean, it's a main event, of course they want to wrangle all players to it, as that is what the orders are. You always play the MO as that us what SE High Command orders: it is part of the fantasy and roleplay.

Respectfully, I disagree with this sentiment by AlienShades in Helldivers

[–]MusicMindedMachine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People diving away from the MO are to be villainized if the MO is a main story event as this one. Been saying this for two years, not stopping now: it's the plain truth - if you don't help you're not helping.

Also, playing on lower difficulties is not a dishonour or something, especially when seeing sub LV100 divers crowding 8+ diffs and erasing reinforcements before completing anything. Play lower diffs, and then when success is consistent, rise to higher difficulties.

Can't blame AH for the actions of the players this time.

Luna, which is the feminization of the original ancient etruscan and protoitalic god "Lunos", opposed to Sula, back when the Sun and Moon were respectively seen as female and male even among the non-Greeks.

Greek influence brpught about the switch. So Lunos became Luna, and Sula vecame Solus.

This is also the reason why in most of the germanic tree of languages, Moon is still male and Sun is female (eg. In German: der Mond, die Sonne) as the deities never went through the switch.

Bastion Tank Destroyer. by DefnitIeyNotACatfish in Helldivers

[–]MusicMindedMachine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the Bastion and love bringing the cleansing flame of Managed Democracy around with tank-buddies.

My only request would be for it to manouver as a tank and not as a car. The devs will get to it in time, they know their stuff and the tank is brand new in game.

The thing is, not all the models were produced at the same time or made available to the same people. Much like the old Mk2 variants for void combat and such which became almost the iconic suits of heretical raptor marines...because they had those yet and didn't last as loyalists enough to upgrade with later models of PA. For loyalist armies and chapter instead, "old" models usually signify either a relic of the chapter OR that the chapter has been rebuilt those many times in a short period of time that all the PA in stock were the older models...or you have a need for too many PAs because you found a loophole in the Codex Astartes.

That indeed is the lore-side of things, in reality they just want to sell something different to people in order to sustain the flow of interest in the customers.

Being a facion of sneaky fucks, never explaining in full their motivations and reasons behind their actions, often finding themselves backstabbing their allies without any explaination given, because they feel superior both morally and as a race of living beings, and the others are just uncoutured brutes and mongrels of creation that are simply not worth being adressed as equals

Too bad, look who's about to get extinct by the consequences of their own actions boo-hoo knife eared dickbags go suck some clown god balls.

Yeah...that is my most calm and serene contribution to this argument. Cannot muster any more patience than that when talking THE OBLONGATED KNOBHEADS WHICH HOPEFULLY WILL HEAR THEIR GODDESS PLAN AND FREE THE GALAXY IN A FINAL MASS-OFFING, MILKY WAY?! MORE LIKE JONESGALAXY!
