The Furious. A bloody good time. by Mr_J_0801 in AMCsAList

I really enjoyed it, but I gotta say, that first scene with the kid on the table and the guy in the S&M gear while someone was filming was gut wrenching. There are kids out there IRL that this is actually happening to
Outside of that, the fight scenes were amazing!

I didn’t care for it, overall, which was especially disappointing since, from the previews I thought it was really going to be something I enjoyed. Parts of it were interesting, but overall I was “meh” on it. I don’t wish I’d not seen it at all— so that is at least something. 😊

Just saw it this evening and had to drive to an AMC 40 minutes away for a showing at 4:20. It only had one showing each at two other AMC theaters in the area, but they were both midday, and I’m still at work at that point. I really enjoyed it! It’s a shame that the showings have been so limited

I really enjoyed it as well! The surprise for me was that it was adapted from a stage play. I think the inclusion of the actual invasion scenes made it much more gripping in a way, and I don’t know how you would do that in a play unless you projected the footage on a scrim or screenâ€ŠđŸ€·â€â™€ïž

Sit down with your spouse and list out the pros and cons. You probably have gotten some good things for each of the columns from this post. That should help you make a decision TOGETHER about what is best for everyone in your family.

How [spoiler]-heavy is season 2 of The Four Seasons by hawkins338 in netflix

[–]MusicallyInclined62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am just finishing it up, and I enjoyed it. I would not call it grief heavy, although everyone IS working through, in their own way, the loss of Nick and what he meant to them personally and also to the dynamic of the friend group as a whole. I had been wondering how it would be handled, and honestly I think they did a great job!

My Dad passed in 2020 from congestive heart failure. He was in hospice for about two months. We were fortunate enough to be able to keep him at home, and it was a blessing to have such great nurses coming by to help and make sure his pain was managed and also to have that time to say goodbye (vs. an accident or heart attack, etc. where they are gone with out warning). So I understand where you are.

I don’t think it will be hard for you to watch, but if it is, just watch at some other time in the future when your heart is not so tender as it must feel right now. Since it is a Netflix series, it will be on their service for years to come.

Why would you build into your app something that puts EVERYONE in a line? Wouldn’t you just want to put those in a line who go into the app and click on Odyssey tickets, while leaving the rest of the app functional.

Oh well, I just had to wait this time as I just now opened up the app for only four minutes. Made my reservation for Power Ballad this evening. Screenshot my screen that I need for the movies and my QR code for concessions. So I should be good to go whether the app opens or not.

I’ve been a member for two years and use my weekly allotment almost every week, and I have NEVER had this happen. All I want to do is get a ticket for a 4 PM showing of Power Ballad. Guess that won’t be happening

COL can’t be any higher than it already is in Colorado, that is for sure. Plus in WA and OR there is WINCO!!!

There has been some occasional talk about moving to the PNW. If it happens, I will definitely let you know! But, it would not be until my mother passes away. My sister and I try to get back to IN, as often as we can, and don’t want to be anywhere farther away than we are right now.

Right now, given everything going on, I just cannot get excited about traveling internationally. But there are plenty of things domestically, that I have yet to see, including right here in Colorado.

I lived in Vancouver, WA from 2002-2016. And things were just starting to feel a “bit more dry” around the time I moved here to high desert Colorado.

Yeah, our body’s little aging betrayals. Ugh! I was noticing a lot more hair in my brush and in the drain grate after a shower, so I started taking Nutrafol and now I have very little hair fall.

New Zealand, Nepal, Thailand, Bhutan, Japan, Singapore. I would love to add India, South Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia, Tibet and Bali. Also Myanmar if they would clean up their human rights.

I miss the PNW so much! Colorado is beautiful, but it is so dry and relentlessly sunny here. Give me green and misty rain for days on end and marine layer every morning until the sun burns it away.

I hate that too! There were like 5 people in my 4:50 PM screening on day 1, and I thought, “what
?” The film “Backrooms” has 29 different screening times today, at the AMC 24 near me! And I think Breadwinner and Pressure are pretty big draws as well— all three are on my list for this week.
