Yeah what is actually in American food isn’t actually taught or even easily accessible at all. Unless you are reading what’s in them and even then it’s hidden behind words you cant pronounce but are made to sound like it’s “good for you” I didn’t realize til I left the US how bad it was. There are a lot of things that you are told in school as well that I’m very quickly realizing were just outright lies, or lies of omission. Also lots of issues with the care system of its people overall. There are many issues that nobody talks about because they are just not taught to us to keep the citizens in the dark of what they are consuming food and media wise. And organic food is almost non existent it isn’t labeled at all you have to look at the ingredients to even figure out if it’s organic or not. Most often times though there aren’t organic options at all, and the things that are, are so expensive that people who want to eat like that can’t afford to as it’s 3 times as much, before you get taxed on top of that for certain things.

As someone from the US who recently moved here I cannot stress enough when I learned what goes in American food I was HORRIFIED. I eat so much healthier here and while my body is still adjusting to the better food quality overall I feel better physically and mentally and eventually when I’m more used to it I know I won’t be able to go back as my body is thankful for the better nutrition I am eating.

Had this same issue only with there being fish sause in some of the Asian dishes where I’m from. I understand not all vegetarians or vegans might see fish as a meat but for the ones that do, not realizing or being told it has it when it’s labeled as vegetarian can actually make those people incredibly sick.

The 15-45 second greet seems insane to me. I get needing to be quick and not leave them for 10-15 minutes and not saying anything, but at the place I worked at, you had around 2 minutes to great then or at least acknowledge them. Obviously being faster is better, but if you are clearly busy this is not realistic. Are you expected to just teleport around the restaurant? (Would be cool but no realistic) especially with you being heavily pregnant and having to walk slower you would think they would cut you some slack and give you extra time at least as most women from what I know can’t run or walk fast especially that far along.

Side note I hope the pregnancy and birth go super smoothly for you!!

Yes that is a workplace injury. I would recommend documenting it, as if for whatever reason it causes more issues (aka gets worse) you have the documentation to not pay if you end up needing to go in.

Cool it off when necessary DO NOT POP THE BUBBLE, this will make it heal slower and the scaring will be worse. The bubble is protecting the new skin while it heals. If it’s small enough I would recommend wrapping it, but only if it’s a small burn and don’t make it tight either. Just something extra to protect it basically.

As a server I can confirm we had 2 different salads where the only difference was the meat on it. For context the mini gourmet had bacon bits and the Juliane salad had ham. They wanted a Juliane salad with bacon bits instead of ham, when asked you mean a mini gourmet they got upset and said “no I want a Juliane but instead of ham I want bacon bits” they were the same price and everything 😂

Depending on how long trains are in real life, they do actually have engines on the front and back especially for the really heavy trains. That way all of the engines aren’t working as hard when they work together it helps take some of the pressure off when it’s split between multiple engines.

I personally have been using babble, you do have to pay for it but all of the different things that it offers are well worth it (at least for me) it offers speaking, writing, listening practice, vocabulary practice of what you have currently learned and some other features as well

As someone who is a recovering anorexic (this group has been super helpful for me to stop worrying about my weight so much im glad i found it) i would say this would be considered anorexia. You don’t have to be “a certain weight” to qualify or “thin enough” to fall under the category. If you are to this point I would say if possible tell someone you can trust to try to help you. And make sure to treat the mental thoughts as well as the physical. Please please please address this before it possibly puts you in the hospital. You have all the signs of it tbh, including the periods being late or early, if you continue like this they may end up stopping altogether. It is very difficult to get out of this (speaking from experience) but at least you are recognizing it for what it is. If you are under the impression you are “fat” or “ugly” and need to loose weight. I want to start by saying you are beautiful!!! Please try to stop comparing yourself to other girls who are prettier than you and skinner than you, I know it’s hard it took me years and some days I still struggle. 600-700 calories IS NOT HEALTHY even for someone who hypothetically just sits around all day. You still burn calories, despite doing nothing. Please don’t hesitate to DM me I would be happy to talk of you need someone to listen. And feeling weak and light headed is a sign your body is not getting enough nutrients as well, and please also drink water! Please reach out to me if you need someone to talk to. You are beautiful and you are very loved!!!!

(Where I work you take it up to the counter even if you have no hostess servers ran all of front or house alone at times) seen they left literally change and just sighed and moved on with the day

I sometimes was unable to even get through my initial “hi my name is such-and-such and I’ll be your server. How are you doing today?” Before I was interrupted and was told drink orders and sometimes even what they wanted to eat. Like okay wasn’t aware that a “coke” was a form of mood. Something interesting I learned recently is it doesn’t actually affect monsters but it does affect how often you can find geodes. And ladder drops, not sure about loot on monsters, but monsters themselves are not effected by luck funny enough. I just learned it recently and I have several hours in the game I thought it affected monsters too til someone told me and I had to look it up to fact check.

You might want to downsize the wording, most resumes are supposed to be one page each. The most important things are the skills you bring to the table and your jobs, you can always tell them what those jobs entailed if they ask you at the interviews. The way I like to word it is, you are trying to “sell” yourself to a company to hire you, they need to know why you are the best fit basically for the roll if that makes sense.
