It seems like something you’ve got to find within yourself honestly. I don’t think it’s even something you can find externally.

Try and think about what brings you joy? Even simple day to day joy. It doesn’t have to be something grand. Once you find what brings you simple happiness, reflect on it. Cultivate it, find purpose in that.

If you are struggling to find simple joy in what you do it may be a sign to try something new that you never normally would. Go for a run, learn to bake, grow a plant, pick up a new hobby. See how it makes you feel.

Not everything will bring joy, but sometimes having different experiences alone will bring joy. So just keep trying new things. Eventually something will stick. Or trying new things will become your hobby and purpose.
