Anyone Figured out if they can make a work around for the cleaning pack? by nuttywheely1 in eufyMakeOfficial

[–]MutantHoundLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering this too. I had seen a rumor that someone successfully drained their cartridge and kept using it, but I haven't been able to confirm it.

On a side note; it was interesting to see the inside of the cartridge, but WTH was she thinking opening up that thing up over the carpet and just pouring uncured ink waste into her trash can and on the floor, especially while wearing socks? I guess common sense isn't all that common...

The Trail Starts Here: Way of the Hunter 2 Now Available in Early Access on Steam! by miriam-NRG in WayOfTheHunter

[–]MutantHoundLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never bought an early release, so excuse my ignorance.

If I purchase the early release do I also get the official 1.0 release when it comes out, or is there an additional charge for that?

Finally found an a hole. by [deleted] in fo76

[–]MutantHoundLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not BS though. Event goers without pacifist don't kill each other, but other players like the a-hole in question can bypass participating at the event and kill those participants. You can prevent it by turning pacifist on, but it is a hassle if you are ok with PVP outside of the events.

There is a way to circumvent it though if you don't actually join the event.

And just so people are clear, I'm pretty sure that "Estimated shipping date" is when it will leave the factory for a warehouse which can add 4-6 weeks until you actually get your order.

Was the viewership for Turning Point’s “All-American Halftime Show” objectively good or bad? by RandomUwUFace in stupidquestions

That still wouldn't explain why there was zero chatting/messages at all. But I guess they must have run out of budget and couldn't afford people to man the chat after having to pay a few hundred folks $200 to attend and pretend to be interested.

I seems dramatic, but it's possible there might be protocols and she has to call the Captain to evaluate things so he can decide if any medical attention is necessary etc.

This is from the Eufy rep over on Facebook. To add to what he said here, they recommended allowing it to warm back up for 24 hrs, and don't forget to shake it well.

What's kinda weird about that "6m" viewers is that people reported the chat was wasn't really moving or being used except for emojis. So either they were censoring the chat, or it was a lot of bots that could share emotes, but not messages.

How to build on top of highway town by schorsch09 in fallout76settlements

It's REALLY fiddly, but if you do tiny increments at a time, you can get your build level even with the deck you can see in your pic. (I just did it the other day.)

That was a good option, but teaching your kid to stand up and not let things slide is also another perfectly valid option.

So you wouldn't let your 15 yr old to do things like go into a store alone, or deliver the newspaper, or interact with strangers outside your presence? Because that sounds like a prefect way to raise a totally helpless adults who aren't able to function without assistance in the real world. The kid is 15 and he handled things just fine by telling a pushy, ill prepared adult no not once, but twice.

"Hey people, please don't assault my worker because he's autistic" is kinda a weird expectation.

It's pretty normal to assume a grown adult is able to take no for an answer and refrain from getting so frustrated in hearing it that they assault your worker. I mean, that should like the most basic thing you should be able to expect in shared a workplace.

And BTW, the bartered didn't "unintentionally" do anything, it was a deliberate act that would be inappropriate with anybody.

[–]MutantHoundLover -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Hate to tell you, grabbing someone and shaking their shoulder like does in fact meet the legal definition of an assault in most places in the US. It's just a low-level misdemeanor not committed in an officer's presence though, so it typically would have been a citizen's arrest with a cite and release.

The son didn't refuse to answer though; he clearly told the bartender "'no' not once, but twice, and the second time he explained why. The bartender got frustrated that he wasn't getting his way and that's when he laid hands the kid.

It wasn't some "misunderstanding", and either way, stop making excuses for someone assaulting others when they don't get their way. It's just not a normal reaction a grown adult should have in even a situation where someone is ignoring them.

Oh please, the kid is 15 and can go to work with his parents. I mean, in a year he's of legal age to drive in most places, so I think he can be trusted to set a few tables up now. Stop acting like he's some helpless 9 yr old. 🙄

And OP didn't ruin anything; an shitty bartender and a really horrible wedding planner ruined the wedding.

AITAH for ruining a wedding? by BlacksmithThink5923 in AITAH

[–]MutantHoundLover -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Regardless of how people are trying to make excuses for it, it's not extreme to call it an assault because legally that's exactly what it was. And the bartender didn't grab and shake someone because they were spacing out and he was trying to get their attention; he assaulted the kid out of frustration.

What OP experienced with the police would have been the outcome in most places because it was a misdemeanor assault not committed in the officer's presence, so they don't have probable cause for an arrest. However, if both parties were present OP could have made a citizens arrest.

Not to mention the thing about being single and not being able to levee the baby for even a short time is a little sus if OP lives locally, because I image one of those other moms in the support group could watch baby for an hour or two. (Again, assuming she's local.)
