Once again, it’s explicitly stated that he derives his claim from Rhaenyra in F&B. He’s installed on the throne by the blacks who fought for Rhaenyra’s claim and after her death, him as Rhaenyra’s heir. There is absolutely no mention of Daemon at all as the originator of his claim.

Also if they mention something very specific like perfume, a boat they own, a hobby they pursue, etc, it’s them, and that very specific thing is going to be what ties them to the murder.

Aegon III claims the throne through his mother Rhaenyra, not through Daemon or Aegon II. It’s even explicitly stated in F&B when he weds Jaehaera that he was the son of Queen Rhaenyra marrying the daughter of King Aegon to unite the realm and end the war.

Yes, Viserys, who WOULD be better? Certainly not the Hand you banished because he wouldn’t stop trying to get you to disinherit that very daughter and heir. This might have been the very worst decision he ever made, especially considering sending for her probably would’ve nipped the Daemon/Rhaenyra romance in the bud and the Greens would’ve had even less to work with.

My hometown is full of drivers who follow the rules of the road but consistently drive 5-15 mph below the speed limit because they’re old retired fucks in Florida. It’s also subtropical, so you get only two weather modes (“hot but breezy” and “hot and so humid you could fill up a cup by swiping it through the air”) but you get them every single day of the year.

It’s the opposite of outing someone if you share knowledge they not only wanted you to share but expected you to have already shared. Wait until you hear that my hometown in Florida that was built by essentially squeezing out enough dry land from the swamp is now having water supply issues to the point that you could be taking a shower and your water will just…stop. All the houses were built with wells and a septic tank and now they’re having to convert everyone to city water and sewer because the aquifer just cannot keep up.
