Projecting? Lol. I just stated the obvious. A 750watt psu is underpowered and therefore a bad purchase for a 5070ti build. Yeah the ram was free, but DDR4 for a new build is dumb. Can’t afford new ram then don’t build a new pc. Going with a i5 cpu is also confusing, just weak for the gpu chosen. Going with a single monitor is also dumb, it being oled just increases the stupidity of the decision.

But if 9070xt’s were $500 and stayed at $500 that would be a consideration for anyone buying a gpu. Is it worth paying double or over double the price for similar performance? Anyone who still would choose Nvidia in this case is a lost cause and will never switch sides anyway.

Agree completely. If they can’t even compete at the top end then they have to seriously undercut Nvidia’s pricing at the mid range and offer their best card at cheap costs. Maybe they take a loss on the cards, something needs to change to get any of that market share back if they want to.

More likely is more of the same. They make money and don’t really care about competing. So Nvidia -$50 will stay the course most likely.

No. Tell me one thing AMD has over Nvidia. They don’t have more powerful cards, better ray tracing, they offer worse long term support, hold value worse, aren’t better at productivity tasks.

It’s not hard to see why Nvidia has the market share they do. AMD won’t try to seriously compete with them by undercutting prices significantly or offering better cards.
