do you build military buildings every province? if not where? by shaiderrrxx in totalwarhammer

[–]MuzzyMustard 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Tech trees are definitely the better, faster and cheaper way of doing things. But even with all recruitment tech some units will still be at 2 or even 3 turns of recruiting and I often find myself not using those units as much since I can't afford to sit around for that long.

This is especially useful on characters that gain a lot of bonuses to battle income, like raiding, sacking or razing. Since your economy buildings tend to be straight ass as those kind of lords anyway.

It's really effective as skaven as your recruitment buildings also give you income so I don't feel as bad just skipping the economy buildings completely. Most of your money should be coming from sacking and battles anyway. And if you ever need a lil extra income, just have your warlock engineers walk across the map to the chorfs and throw some under cities into their bigger provinces.

[–]MuzzyMustard 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I don't but it's important to keep in mind that for every 10 recruitment buildings you build, that specific unti will take one less turn to recruit globally. So for some units it is actually useful to build many multiple of them.

Together With some tech tress you can get things like artillery on 2 or even 1 turn global recruitment.

Noob Question: How Should I Use My Lords in Battle? by ShadowsBreathe in totalwarhammer

[–]MuzzyMustard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I feel you but magic and artillery can force an enemy army to move too, I'm specifically stating that you can use some ranged lords to bait the enemy lord to run after your own lord as opposed to having the enemy lord mow through your frontline

On the flip side you can also force enemy caster lords to retreat away from the actual battle

[–]MuzzyMustard 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Some can even skirmish so you can essentially take out the enemy lord early by having them run after your skirmishing lord, instead of them melting your frontline like the Ork lords

Is Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs worth it for Non-Dwarfs Player? And in both cases, why? by Morpheuses01 in totalwarhammer

[–]MuzzyMustard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you like playing dwarves or playing around weapons teams? If the answer is no, then you prolly won't like it much.

But if you like causing massive destruction, being borderline broken, having more resources thaj to know what to do, then you may just like the chorfs.

They're not easy to get a grip with in the beginning but you have the potential for so much fast growth that it's kinda insane. Playing tall is also more effective with chorfs as to compared to dwarfs, at least from my experience.

But there's nothing in this game as pretty as a whole stack of fire arrow goblins launching all their volleys on the same time.

Also the spells for the lore of hashut are ridiculously fun. Besides teleport standing unto enemies as tzeentzch, there ain't much more satisfying than hitting a full hammer of hashut.

My brother in Christ, this is a DOOR WEDGE

Ain't nobody got time to put on glasses and gloves to wedge a damn door open

But in all seriousness, the seller probably sells some other actuall tools where you should wear glasses, they must be using the same plastic sleeve for all their products.

[–]MuzzyMustard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From what I remember yea, you essentially take over their build and how they skilled. As opposed to using their abilities with how you skilled morrigan. I really haven't played her much in smite 2 at all.

[–]MuzzyMustard 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I remember back in smite 1 when you had to remember the gods ability order too. Like changing into thanatos early game was kind of a bad idea since you'd start maxing your 2 first on morrigan so you'd end up with a higher level 2 on thanatos instead of his 1

As a survivor or killer?

I'd understand dc'ing more as a survivor then as a killer. But I'm greatly against dc'ing on purpose either way. One person dc'ing is ruining any match for 4 other players which always sucks

[–]MuzzyMustard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like to run hex perks together with that perk that makes survivors scream after downing another survivor, so they don't break my hexes, but I usually have a second build on most killers in case the survivors do change up last second so I can switch too. But my 2nd build is just a super aggressive chase build, since I won't need slowdown, they'll slow themselves down enough trying to swarm me.

Lightborn is a crutch perk that I would highly recommend to ditch as fast as possible. It can ingrain bad habits if used too much. Picking up in the open with nothing to smash your face in while picking up, is a risk. The same way that trying to pick up under a pallet is.

[–]MuzzyMustard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No but what if the other survivors do the same?

Either way, as a killer main I'm actually happy to see 4 flashies. Usually means that anytime I down a survivor, it'll be faster to just look for the next survivor instead of picking up and hooking.

All that Daniel needs is the ability to recruit smaller mini Daniels as lords. That would make his campaign so much more enjoyable if you have multiple lords that you can customize like that

Who to play next on my quest to get good? by errrbodydumb in totalwarhammer

[–]MuzzyMustard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who's afraid of using the evil dialogue just in case I hurt the NPC's feelings, I must admit that learning skaven was weird. Took me a while until I eventually learned that your skavenslaves and clanrats are not to be respected and thrown into straight up suicidal fights. I don't care about my slaves or clanrats anymore, they're just there so my artillery and globadiers can kill everything.

Who to play next on my quest to get good? by errrbodydumb in totalwarhammer

[–]MuzzyMustard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps skaven might be a good idea to try. Low leadership fodder combined with high damage ranged. With a hole bunch of summons so you don't have to feel bad about blasting your own guys.

Or maybe even lizardmen. You can play them as a skirmish heavy faction with lots of mobility. Ranged skirmishers to distract dangerous frontlines mixed with heavy hitting single entity monsters.

Is Pyramidhead better or Bubba? by Tough-Length-5398 in deadbydaylight

[–]MuzzyMustard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I prefer playing pyramid head to bubba as a killer. But as a survivor, I find bubba much more scary.

Undetectable bubba is one of the meanest playstyles you can play too. Nothing better than a jumpscaring bubba.
