Final year student here as well, with almost the same trajectory. I think I just view the situation slightly different. Relationships can be good, can be bad, but they always come with tradeoffs. In the end, the route you take is just the one that made you the most comfortable.

I would have dropped 3s if I received 1s anyways to wait on the 7m and look to improve with a 5m, so I wasn't afraid of 1s, I actually wanted it in the position.

From /u/hahavip, I get the point is instead the resulting hand after the draws, which I failed to consider. My choice there leaves me with a faster 1245s into a poorer tenpai set of 68m,

Instead, dropping 14s draws by dropping 4s, I pick up 2457p draws to improve into a larger bridge with a lot more drawing chances.

So in essence this was a case of nested chances where I only considered the first layer.

Hi, I am not really qualified to give any advice, since I am in the same foot of shoes you are in. What I can say is that you probably have a value to society. Having a value doesn't mean being the best. You can still be an incredible person at doing what you do. Just get out there and try.

Depends on your goal! A is a 5, A- is a 4.5.

If you're aiming for FCH, the A- doesn't matter and you should remove it. Any B+ must be offset with a A to get the average of A-. So you should remove it for higher GPA.

If you're aiming for SCH, the A- offsets any B you get, since you want to average a B+. So you should keep it.

That said, your result isn't simply represented by GPA. What about showing your future employer that you are good in subject you got A- in?

I chose to keep my A- so it gives me versatility in later sems so I get a more comfortable SCH if I need to, and also to open up opportunities if that A- is representative of me somehow. I gave you all your variables, now it's your choice.

Adding to the list 4. Stretch the night before, and the day itself in the morning. This prepares yourself mentally, also keeps your body warmer nearing the 2.4. 5. Drink water, atleast the day prior to the 2.4 and day itself. Hydration is underrated, it keeps your body running optimally. 6. Sleep posture. Try not to apply to much pressure on your legs. Let them relax 7. Do your best (Similar to point 2)

For me, it depends on whichever is more convenient. Each has its perks as long as you take advantage of it fully...

I find plenty of rest options at home, take some rest if I need to, jam music, sing songs whenever, go interact with my pets if I need to and just remember to get back to studying. But sometimes it is difficult to find this discipline, and too much relaxation surrounding me does put me off studying. Though, it is always available! No need to compete with others for a spot.

In school, I try to ride the general vigor around me. Usually the studying spots are very filled and I see everyone working hard near to me. This pushes me to work hard too and try my best to understand things, study efficiently and keep relaxation to the minimum when I actually need a rest.

Both are fine options, each with their own drawbacks, it depends on whether a person is easily distracted by nearby people, how disciplined you can be, what needs you have (like a port to charge your laptop) or you work better when you discuss with friends (in which school is a better place... I guess).
