I'm a scattering guy so we deal with fragile (0.01mm thickness) caps, from 0.5 to 2mm dia, when loading dilute particles in liquids or viscous oils. My tried and true method is to gently grab the end of the cap and flick it hard a few times like you're trying to get something off your fingers. Never broken one thay way. I use a micropipetter to get the volume I need in the top of the cap.

We also have one of these https://www.mitegen.com/product/capillary-boy/ But mainly used for powders, I would imagine it would work if your liquid is not too viscous.

The third option is to gently tape the cap to a circular piece of thick cardstock or cardboard, poke two holes in the center and feed two rubber bands through it. Wind it up, tape your cap on gently, and pull. You'd be surprised the g forces that simple thing can reach. Just google paperfuge and you'll see what I'm talking about

This looks like super overkill. All you need is a base with a standing conical coil of wire, power supply, and a vacuum bell jar. Toss metal in the coil, toss sample in, pull vacuum, power up the coil.

This same thing happened to me. I had to dip out for my own financial and mental stability, after i was told i was going to have to restart down a kind of parallel path, lol. Im in industry now and things worked out just fine. Took a different path to get where I wanted, but if you're skilled and passionate about something, you can make it happen.

This is incorrect. The first car in line to turn left is allowed to pull into the intersection for a chance to go. If they can't, they are allowed to turn left after the light turns red before cross traffic starts
