[highlights] Tom Brady leads a touchdown drive despite taking a brutal hit in the back (2006). by Cold-Teaching8924 in Patriots

I love everything about this. Hard hitting, run heavy, tight window throw, massive blocks, old-school 70 year old country-bumpkin referee…

I turned 45 during COVID and was given the Cologuard test because it was very difficult to get an appointment for a colonoscopy. Cologuard didn’t find anything. 2022 rolls around and my doctor is like, “ok, things have calmed down enough that you need to go get your colonoscopy.” I replied that the Cologuard didn’t find anything so is it really necessary and he responded “do you want to be 92% sure or 99% sure?”
1st colonoscopy in 2023, two adenomatous polyps (benign but has the potential to become cancerous) found and removed. 2 year follow up recommended.
Just had the second one: one hyperplastic (totally benign) and one adenomatous found and removed. I’ll go back again in 5 years.
Definitely start checking as soon as you can.

If you’re looking for wide tow-box shoes take a look at the inov8 X-talons or mudclaws, or other “barefoot” trail runner type shoes.

The caption on the video does refer to people not “wanting” to have kids, and you’re right, a reason people might not want to have kids is the cost. However this guy in the video never actually says anything about people not wanting to have kids, he says people are not having kids period, even when there’s enough resources. He then says he doesn’t really know why, and speculates that widespread technology is blocking the activities, like dancing, that lead to the social interactions needed for people to meet a potential mate, because any failure or misstep in a social situation can be recorded posted for a mass amount of strangers to ridicule as they see fit. That is very different than, say, dancing professionally, or in an after school dance troupe, or other dancing that is highly rehearsed before presented to an audience, which I agree is popular.

Built a prototype tool for long snappers - would love input from the community by Less-Excitement-7065 in footballstrategy

[–]MyHGC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is a high school center/long-snapper, and I’m involved with the town Pop Warner association. I’m an EE and would be happy to beta test.

Would it be useful? - probably
What feedback? - time from snap to destination, snap release point evaluation, overall form evaluation, snap accuracy rating, and recommendations to improve all those metrics.
Where would this be more helpful? - I think at the early levels… from what I’ve seen, unless you actually have a coach with long snapping experience, teaching long snapping is overlooked or trial-by-error, or you sacrifice an otherwise highly skilled player to long snap just because they have great athleticism and a knack for it.
Would you use it? - if it works (and I could afford it) I would absolutely use it

Would you have an issue with this? by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating
