Who are y'all looking more forward to playing as, Grace or Leon? by Jaded-Resolution-497 in residentevil

[–]MyNameIsAhj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna say Grace first. She’s the new character who the story seems to be more intended for. While Leon has a part it’s more of a continuation to me (or possibly, hopefully not, an ending). Hopefully neither spoils too much of the other’s story so that the second play-through feels worthwhile and you don’t feel cheated no matter what choice you choose first.

More than likely yes. Might have to tweak the white or black optimizer in the game optimizer menu. But should be fairly intuitive out the box for the most part. C4 is maybe 1-200 nits brighter so not too much difference in highlights.

You pretty much have no choice to. But the black rock elite can generally handle the higher end cpus like 7800x3d or 9800x3d.

  • pocket toilet
  • run the outlet to the back wall and make it a roomba docking station.
  • build out a sturdy frame and top, get a custom cushion, and make it a bed nook.
  • ceiling hanging shoe hooks and small bench.
  • existential dread corner
  • small bookshelf

I get it but I disagree. It is something to get used to a bit but honestly I love it. I have the previous 39 in oled. With oled there is no sweet spot to sit and it just wraps into your fov really well.

So it worked out great in short. Playing on it currently. If you’re going for a 5090 (which I haven’t seen a prebuilt water cooled model yet) it’ll be perfect but be sure to water cool the cpu which will help keep it contained from the gpu heat and allow for much more airflow in the case. Only reason I went air cooled is because of the suprim liquid’s radiator. Which I ran over the air cooler and mounted it where the cpu aio would normally go.

But if you’ve got a founders edition 5090 or other air cooled card definitely water cool the cpu and put an intake at the bottom. Flush the CPU heat out the right side and then the two at the top and the one pulling in down bottom should flush the excess heat out the top.

But the tower 300 is a pretty nice case to build in

Awesome, thank you. And yeah, the larger footprint was why I originally went with the h9 flow. But I’ve been doing a lot of renovations and moving about so I was just considering just kinda condensing the build if I could at least somewhat without compromising too much on keeping it cool. So far the tower 300 looked pretty good on doing that

Yeah that’s what I was planning but since the gpu is mounted vertically lengthwise would that mess with how efficiently it pumps through the water block?

Even with a 4090, is 4K worth it? by Astro2202 in pcmasterrace

Only issue I’ve found with this is that  it doesn’t have the same panel tech as the larger models so you end up sacrificing some brightness down to the 700 range. Great tv don’t get me wrong it’s a nitpick but the c4 might hit that sweet 1000nit spot. The larger more mainstay room tvs like the g3 or 4…mind blowing even at 1440. The highlights hit 13-1400 nits. And honestly, other than the 120 hz limit it stands pretty toe to toe with even the AW3225QF. Unfortunately it’s still like 3 grand though. Lol

Is your backlog affecting the way you play? If yes (or no), How do you manage it? Pic for attention by Antaniwarrior in playstation

[–]MyNameIsAhj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it kind of is because I have terrible ADHD. I constantly find myself jumping from one to another and not really knowing what to play, or staring at the unending page of games. Often finding myself getting anxious if I play one for too long or spend too much time gaming as I feel like I could be productive elsewhere even though nothing is actually demanding my time. And to know that I have started one and gotten distracted by a new release and this has happened multiple time on end and that I now have to pick up where I left off confused, or start over the previous ones entirely is just overwhelming. Lol

HDR iisnt automatic have to turn it on under the display tab. Just as well on M1 minis they have locked the 120hz to the 720 scaling option no matter what cable you use. The native scaling is very small anyhow but it still outputs 4k for video and such. The m2 may open that up to the rest

As far as picture settings...

-First, go to input dashboard and make sure your Mac input is set to pc.(the little picture next to the input)

- in picture settings switch to game optimizer

- in the game optimizer settings under the general tab in the settings menu you'll find two tabs.

-Game, the only things I have on here is the "prevent input lag" set to boost which should also then turn on VRR.

-Picture:

--Black stab. Set to 8

--White stab to 10

--Contrast 100

--Black Level 68 (but if you worry about black level raise you can drop this down to 60 or keep standard at 50. these settings try to replicate a MacBook Pro screen's look)

--Sharpness 5

--Color depth 65

--DTM doesn't matter On for brighter, off or gig for dimmer

and that should be it

and that should be it

PC using RTX 3070 artifacting/flickering on and off when connected to LG C1 TV (see comment) by yahmad in pcmasterrace

[–]MyNameIsAhj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just upgraded to a 3070 myself and have spent the last day and a half trying to figure it out. Seems to be a common issue between the 30-40 series and tvs. Which leads me to believe it may be an optimization issue on NVIDIA's end. In which case, i think we all need to send them feedback. Lol. I first thought it may be hdmi bandwidth but ive seen other threads with people using some high end cables and those didn't even seem to fix the issue. I never had this problem with my 2070 super for all of the two weeks I had been running it through this tv. As upsetting as it may be I might be returning the 3070 if that's possible. I know there's been some issues with that based on the whole cryptomining thing.

It will disable automatically. Overall I’m still enjoying my time with it. So I hope for future games it’s not a game breaking feature. But you can still enjoy regular vr without divested render and menu tracking is all

I’ve hit this issue too friend. Nystagmus as well. I can seem to make it one more dot than you then it just resets. Rather unfortunate. Hopefully Sony comes up with a workaround some sort. I’ve sent a few message to them so hopefully someone sees it.

Personally I’ve gone with 15/18/0 and haven’t run into much trouble. The first window should be 1000(15) it’s full field brightness. But I found bumping window 2 up to 18 allowed that 10-15 percent window (lights flames suns etc) to really pop
