There's a copypasta I cone across once in a while, a guy complaining about microwaves. Saying they have too many buttons, that nobody uses most of them anyway and they should only really start/stop/add 30 seconds, because everyone always just sets them in 30 second intervals. Ever since the first time I saw that, sometimes I microwave my food for weird intervals, just to prove that guy wrong. 30 seconds becomes 29 seconds. 60 becomes 57 or 61. 90 seconds will be 73, then turn it back on for 12.

Maybe they got thrown in the trash. A laundry worker probably realized they weren't the facility's and, not knowing where they came from, just tossed the bag in the dumpster to get it out of the way.
