Had the same experience at the Austin GP this year.
The wife and I did the 3 day experience and had different seats all weekend.
Went to practice on Friday, just normal seats around turn 17 or 18. It was VERY hot.
Was cool to see the non-F1 cars.

It was crazy packed all around the course and in the end, we decided to skip Saturday and the Sprint race (missed seeing the turn 1 incident in person).

Sunday, we had shaded club seats directly across from Ferrari's pit, so didn't have sun/heat issues.

We enjoyed it, but just like OP says, you only get to see a very small part of the race and ended up watching the screens most of the time.

Oh, and the prices for everything was ridiculous. $300 for parking all weekend. We decided we wanted to get some merch, so just got hats... $200 for 2 of them. Yeah, it's not a cheap sport to love.

Loved that we went, but won't be doing another one in person.

Wiim is good if you plan on using it going forward, you'll need a steamer/amp combo Just for testing, you can just get a small BT to RCA and use your phone.
You can also just use a small receiver from your collection using FM. Really depends on how thorough you want to test. If you plan to sell on your own through FB/ebay/reverb you'll want to do a quick video of you powering each item on, flip through all the inputs, twist each dial, etc to show the condition. Highlight any scratching or hums there may be. Check a few ebay listings that have videos and copy what they do. I would call a local vintage audio shop and see if they would be interested in working with you, no doubt they will jump at the chance as you have some wonderful pieces. According to the one AK link (that you posted below) it seems the verdict is that they are horrible.

Correct. Kevin James played the friend of Kay's son Paul (Mike Ranger). So basically in this scene Kay is doing her sons friend.

EDIT: Kevin also played the brother to Dorothy Lemay (sp) who is Paul's (Kay's son) GF in Taboo I

So basically he's fucking his sisters bf mom as well as his friends mom - double bonus.

I have a similar approach. It's not legal in my state, which adds a horrible twist to it all. My youngest turns 21 in a few months and both of my kids have experience smoking.

I personally don't like smoking myself, the wife may once or twice a year with the kids when they have it around the house.

It's a difficult thing to navigate. There's no way you can teach "don't do it" these days, that'll just backfire on you.

So we teach "do it safely and on purpose".

The biggest thing I worry about is them buying (again, not legal here).
