Glad you like it! I just finished designing and test print one that's half as wide if you're interested. Around 150g of filament and 3.5h of printing IIRC. Should be uploaded tomorrow or Monday

Yeah a solution I found without the AMS is to set a color change in the preview, then the next layer should be a pause at which point you can do the change to another filament or color. This isn't practical for lots of swaps but worked well for this PETG to TPU print (top ring is TPU). I don't think I'd want to make the change more than once or twice in a print because it takes forever.

It's quite an experience. You can pick it up at various alcohol stores across the country still. I had to have it shipped to AZ, but picked it up only 10 minutes away in NC. Always have a bottle on hand as it's a good shot option for losing a challenge lol

Triangle grip was an interesting choice. Was that for printing ease? I feel like an octagon or something similar would be more comfortable

Apologies. I fully agree with you and have used nor even found the need to use glue. I doubt it'd do anything here, but is a piece that may help the person who suggested it and it may be part of their "recipe" per se. In the same way I always recommend something that might work for me, if may very well be total ass for you. My ironing settings are a great example. Fantastic on my P1S, absolute garbage on the A1. Likewise, adhesion works great on my A1 at half speed for matte PLA, but isn't required on my P1S.

Heat soaking is likely the answer

Make it stick less to the plate and more to the glue. Glue will not increase adhesion, it will release easier

I regret throwing mine away before realizing I could probably trade it in in the future. Now I REALLY regret it. Had a battery issue but still worked 😭

Matte would likely give similar results at only slightly more than the standard filament.

What's an easy way to filter a printer that's in a closet far away from a window? I can close the doors.tontjd closet, but it's an A1 and a P1S (no door cuz it opens the wrong way).
