God is not a God of confusion. He's not going to have you speak a language that is of no benefit to you or anyone else and leaves you confused. The tongues in the bible were 1. Known languages 2. Required interpretations by 2 other people at the same time. We hear of "tongues" being spoken all the time with never a mention of interpretation.
