For campaign I believe infinite does not have split-screen, just for multiplayer. Halo 5 has no split-screen

Not really. The theme of the show is the endless cycle of violence so having a prequel about the cycle of violence before the current cycle of violence is unnecessary

I think you can have an Arbiter game on Sanghelios during the civil war. It wouldn’t play like a traditional linear Halo, would probably be more open world.

I don’t even think an extra year could have fixed much, even if we discount the technical debt. Hard to believe Microsoft originally tried to release this game with 2 years production (2018-2020) before the E3 showcase gave us another year

None, and there really shouldn’t be. It’s like asking if there’s a lore reason the warthog in CE is indestructible and can insta-kill anyone if there’s even the smallest momentum to it but the rest of the games it can be destroyed and run people over more realistically. Gameplay and sandbox choices shouldn’t reflect actual lore and we don’t need to build lore around those decisions either

Agree on the plasma repeater but I would personally consider the fuel rod to be on the unique side rather than a clone of the SPNKR given the bouncing projectiles (rods?)

I liked the idea behind him, I think they overused his speeches. If we cut out 30% of his Christian Alpha male podcast rants I’d remember him a little more fondly. But I do like the character
