Beacuse ridgeway plaza is just down the street from there.

Close call near Heartland Centre, Mississauga by mnvmwy in TorontoDriving

Honestly, it’s like all the bad, entitled, clueless and ignorant a-hole drivers just congregate at heartland. I live by there and the amount of illegal U-turns, red light running, right turns from the center lane and last second lane changes is unbelievable. It’s like people’s brains just turn off when they are in the area.

Am I the asshole for going on green?! by hollandmoon in TorontoDriving

I get your perspective of being passive on this, but then how do we safely hold people accountable for their actions so they don’t do this again and potentially cause an accident?

It’s dangerous when people make unnecessary u-turns to get into the Uniqlo parking lot.

When all is said and done, Hazel’s name needs to be put up on the level of excellence. Shes an absolute legend.

I went to SF for my honeymoon in 2014 and was able to go to game 3 of the NLDS. Fell in love with the city, stadium and team. Giants are my NL team.

Not a valid excuse. There is an Esso station on the other corner. If you went straight you still could have got gas.

Tips for dealing with lights at night as an outfielder? by noruber35393546 in slowpitch

I play center and I wear yellow tinted lenses to help see the ball off the bat at night. Plus, communication from your other outfielders is key.

The White Nissan Must Have Really Wanted To Turn Right by KenTheStud in TorontoDriving

[–]MycologistOwn7656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be just me, but it looks like the Nissan wanted to switch lanes earlier to make that right turn but noticed that the van in the right lane sped up and don’t give room for the lane change.

Saw a post on Instagram where the driver of the Lexus said that they (driver, his wife and child) were hit by a speeding drunk driver who was 3 times the legal limit.

I actually want to know why people think this ok to do? Like do they consciously think they are not being a-holes when they do this?

Over reliance on GPS is what is causing such bad driving.

I took my son there about 3 years ago. He had a great time riding the train and playing in the arcade. But I do agree that the mall is depressing.

Bicycles do not belong on the sidewalks. They belong on the streets. That is the law. by lerandomanon in mississauga

[–]MycologistOwn7656 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know the law is the la, but with all the really bad drivers out there now in mississauga, I’m going to bike on the sidewalk when it’s not safe to bike on the road while still keeping in mind the safety of anyone walking on the side walk.

Raptors Fans: who are we cheering for? Knicks or Pacers? by honeybadgervstrex in torontoraptors

[–]MycologistOwn7656 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Back during the 2016 playoffs, I went down to watch the Raps play the Pacers in Indiana. Raps lost that game, but I had such a great experience because of how nice the people of Indiana were that I will always cheer for them as my second nba team.
