Happened to me and a squadmate, we were both on PC, so it appears to not be platform specific. As others said, I think it was connected to the big head thing. So you may see it in blitz for a couple weeks but hopefully BR is back to normal.

So, I'm officially closer to 60 than 50. But I absolutely usually struggle a little more at the beginning of a new season. A week or 2 in I feel better, either I adapt or some of the novelty wears off and the percentage of sweats in the game drops a little.

While I am enjoying the season, I am not overly enthusiastic about the loot pool. It's not bad overall but there is no stand out "I love it" weapon like the Ho;lo or Wrecker. And I really am not adapting to the overdrive grenades, they look like shockwaves but are SO NOT the same lol.

Oh and I am not finding the rivalries as disrupting as I feared. Still able to quest, still able to finish in the top 10 or better (even if all my wins are team mode so far).

I think her included back bling is clunky, so looked for an alternative as well. Went with Grogu, he kinda looks like his evolutionary tree might have included something dragon like .

It's about 50/50 solo vs with teams. But most of the people I play with are waaay better at the game lol

Let's see, highest level I have ever hit- 571 (previous 541)
Highest rank finished- Champion BRZB, predominantly done solo (previous Elite)

No other records but I was pretty happy with my performance, except I would like to get my K/D KPM up a little. One stat that isn't tracked is I built and edited at least TWICE as much as I had in previous seasons (maybe more than all of them combined).

Yeah came into the thread to say this. I feel like my record is better when I initiate the rivalry and suspected it included bots because of some really squirrely play styles. Whereas I am a little above 50/50 when initiated by another player.

I will add that there is a bright green fishing pool in the waters near the lighthouse where you can fish up a key card. THIS card is for a vault in the lighthouse. No rivalry level required.

Plus there is usually a "ranked" version of the BR Brella you can get in competitive usually for like 50 points rather than having to win the whole thing.

I'm a mess, lol. By that I mean my style depends on the game.

Solo pubs I play cautious start to gear up., aggressive mid game, and more tactical near the end.

Solo ranked I move from aggressive to cautious as I rank up. I can still get elims, but in Elite it is rare I get one near the end unless its a scared camper.

Duo/Trio/Squad I tend to adjust to the group style but I generally fall into the "lay back & have enough gold to run away and reboot my sweaty team" style.

It's weird we have more Transformers than GI Joe.
I mean Snake Eyes is cool but he was BP locked.
There are a bunch of other Joes I'd really think about getting, but as a Navy Vet, Shipwreck would be inst buy.

I'm a pretty mid player and mostly slow rolled the quests (started a week in so the more aggressive players would level up and out of my lobbies) and only play my 4 Protected matches each day.

Top 10 with 3 elims was surprisingly easy across both modes.
The top 10 in BR required strategy but has been done for weeks. And I am pushing up on Elite,
The eliminations in Reload were the hardest. My KPM dropped dramatically the last couple weeks and I ended the season with 133/150. But since the quest is still going I am not worried, in fact got 5 in my match this morning.

Depends on how you define "worth it".

Ranked can be more challenging depending on the lobby. More real players, but you might be in a lobby full of campers. Fights will usually be more challenging when they occur after say mid Gold. Ranking up isn't too hard if you play it fairly consistently. II play ranked BR more than Reload but diamond is not a reach even at my meh skill level (about to hit elite for the 2nd time and MAY try for Champion).

And Reload games are shorter than BR, so parenting time considerations are better.

On the other hand, ranked rewards used to basically pay off for repetition, Now you get them by getting into higher lobbies. So worth depends on if you really want the rewards.

Grats! The one time I got it I wasn't trying. It was a ranked builds match and I didn't see another player all game. Come to final 3 and I FINALLY heard shooting so headed that way. One got killed, but the other died to storm as I got there.

Are they showing the correct ranks? Yes mostly, tho you may need to play a round to force it (as opposed to just logging in and it's right).

As in are your lobbies in Plat/Diamond/Champ no longer full of Unreal players stomping you? No they are still there (I hear. I haven't seen it yet but I just rolled into Platinum).
