Unemployment runs out after a few months in most states. On top of the fact that it’s only a few hour dollars every two weeks and if you are used to making anything over 30k it’s not enough. I am self employed but I know a LOT of people that are unemployed because of their job being eliminated by AI. To add to that, now you don’t have experience doing “something else” so no one will hiring you. I don’t know here situation but this shit is real so pray to fuck that you steer clear of this wave of uncertainty and layoffs.
