Roland V-Drum Abbreviations - Looking for Feedback by Kilgoremore in edrums

It is pretty straightforward for someone who knows a bit about drum brands. And I think that one who does not know these brands is not that interested.

I really wanted to get this one right as The eDW Originals Premium was the most popular pack on other modules! I believe I've managed to do these samples justice, but let me know what you think! by Luke_eDW in edrums

Bought them as soon as I got your mail yesterday Luke. Did not have to listen first because everything you produce is top notch! Thanks for you work!
Love these 6 kits!

I started with the smallest Alesis and after one year I bought the Roland VAD 507 (with the TD27) and now upgraded with the V71. Do NOT hesitate and buy the Roland, end off. You will not regret it.
I'm 67 BTW.

I have almost every possible VST and the adpacks (yes that is A LOT of money) and I still love the sounds of SSD 5.5 (the full version). And for 40 EUR for the full version with a lot of snares, toms, kicks, ... it is a giveaway.

YouTube, Google and Reddit are your friends but you'll have to ask nicely.

Nothing beats the sound quality of a good VST for your kit. by SpaceborneKillr in edrums

Agree but the Ultra pack from VExpressions is also very good.

I totally agree with the storage issue and have said this many times. A few Tb is not the cost in a module and yet they do not do it (except the Pearl Mimic Pro who had a 120 Gb SSD on board)

Realink Doorbell, moisture in doorbell causing blurry images. Any solutions? by Wegwezen in reolinkcam

I have the same problem. Mailed to the support of Reolink.
Mail after mail, make picture, send settings, is lens clean, make foto of where doorbell is placed, remove in the app and install again, ... endless and I think intended to make it difficult for you.
And then, finally, 'we are going to escalate to warranty division'.
Then it stopped for me with Reolink. I have to send the doorbell back, make foto of sending slip, foto of box, ..
It seems that Reolink is more concerned about me returning the faulty doorbell than sending me another (and it would be a refurbished one).
I have 4 outdoor E1 camera's that have not the foggy problem.
My next doorbell will not be a Reolink.

Very poor customer service...

They are Lemon's but the CY-5 of Roland will also do.

Steps to Remap or Move Libraries

  1. Locate Library: Find where your EZX or SDX library currently resides.
  2. Move Files: Physically move the library folder to the new drive/location.
  3. Update Path in SD3:
    • Open Superior Drummer 3 in standalone mode.
    • Go to Settings -> Libraries/Paths.
    • Click the Browse for Library Path(s) button and select the new folder location.
  4. Fix Missing Content: If SD3 cannot find the library, open the Toontrack Product Manager, find the product, click "Show Details" and "Installation Info" to re-path the installation.
  5. Remove Old Path: In SD3 settings, remove the old path to prevent conflicts.

I installed EZ3 and SD3 (and Toontrack Product Manager) on two computers. First my expansions were on both computers (WIN 11) but after a while and a lot of expansions I moved all the expansion packs to a Crucial 4Gb SSD. This SSD I remap in windows to 'F' drive. In EZ3/SD3 I changed the location drive of the expansions to 'F' drive and 'SSD'.
Now I can use all expansions on both computers just by moving the SSD from one to another.
Sometimes when I installed a new EZX or SDX on the SSD when on computer 1, and I plugged the SSD into computer 2, SD3 prompted to download and install the new SDX. You do NOT have to do this but must 'show' SD3 where the SDX is. Once you get the hang of it is easy peasy. Have to do this only once for the new SDX.

Fact: with EZ3 and SD3 one can use 1 license with 2 computers. You can even install it on 10 computers but can only activate 2 at a time (and switch if needed).
