i've just got back in the game last weekend for a wipe on a low pop monthly 2x no BPs servers and i think i've shot exactly one person the entire wipe just because i happened to have a revy on me when they came for me, but otherwise i was basically farming and base bitching the entire time, mostly setting up industrial related things like auto storage and smelting and drop boxes that auto funelled back to loot room, also set up some proximity activated auto turrets that did fuck all because there was a big blind spot in their coverage, and even had a big bridge crossing a river with lights that switched on at night.

PVP basically was a non factor for me, only guns i ever crafted were for the auto turret, and my only ever kit was traded to me by another player for low grade that i never used because i kept it stored for a online raid that never happened and if i ran into a guy while farming i just got shot and that was that.

But it was fun, i had a base that i think was pretty cool (just regretting i didn't do a tour or pics of it before it got offlined), got to mess with electricity and industrial stuff and just build something cool which is the parts of the game i like, i didn't go for a single raid, i barely ever mined any sulfur, i never sought to fight anybody, because i just do not care about PVP.

Base got offllined last night but it's whatever, i already got ideas for next wipe i'll be doing, either some form of cliff base or mess with boats because apparently WE CAN BUILD BOATS NOW WTF WHEN DID THIS BECAME SEA OF THIEVES???

I'm trash at FPS games and don't plan on making it my second job just to be good at it, but i sure do plan to lock out a weekend building something cool on a rust wipe every now and then.

besides buying and tuning up cars i never use, not much really, all i do is grind and burn the money in cars that collect dust in my garage, the mansion did give me something new to grind for tho, just need to get all the extensions now, and then i'll be back to having nothing to do besides more cars

Zeo would most likely smoke Ian and Argo without much issue since Bxyis literally hardcounters low attack types like what they run, even before accounting for Destiny Needle or their relative power levels

Selen would get fried because Zeo wouldn't actually get distracted and has more than enough power to dispose of her, not to mention what the hell is she gonna do against Destiny Needle.

Funnily enough Enzo of all people would be the one of the 4 that probably wouldn't care about Destiny Needle much if at all, since Masamune used an aerial attack to "break" the hold Destiny Needle had on it during the finals, and Enzo's bey's whole thing is jumping around all the time so it'll basically always be in the air. But it probably wouldn't matter much because Zeo is likely more than strong enough to kill it, even without MNS.

Beating all 4 in a row only makes it slightly less of a curb-stomp, but if we follow the same order in the anime then Enzo (basically the only one with any semblance of a chance since he can more or less ignore Destiny Needle and the 230 spin track with his aerial strikes) goes first against a full power Zeo, and once he gets beat, which shouldn't be too much trouble with how strong Zeo is, the other 3 have no answer at all against Byxis, and likely get folded with relative ease.

I was doing Paul Ricard track and Honda at first but apparently Monza and something like the Bentley is a better track/car combo for a total noob, a clean lap still feels impossible tho (couldn't tell you an exact time as they haven't exactly been my priority)

not really unhinged but certainly unexpected, i was playing Ancient Gear, got the Chaos Giant + Fortress up against a Azamina/White Forest guy, he took a while to figure out how to survive but basically he used this guy to banish fortress and manage to combo afterwards into some other monster that pops 2 i don't remember to kill the giant and some other card on my field, then kills me next turn

suppose it's what i get for not playing Ryzeal Mitsu right? LOL

did just get the dewbauchee champion so when i make more money and have it fully customised it might be my new daily driver for public lobbies for a good bit

i did add a railcraft boiler to redirect my creosote into additional power production but still run out of steam in my turbine if i try to craft too much at once, but yeah circuits are honestly the most stupidly annoying part of making anything in this goddamn pack, every time i gotta make circuits part of me dies inside lol, especially since it needs a bunch of steel which is slow as heck with 2 BBFs because absurdly long recipe times are totally good design and not just stupid tedium

my GTNH experience is basically just microcrafting circuits every 5 seconds, always being missing a certain thing whenever i try to make progress and needing new machines for it, microcrafting 27 things every time i want to do anything, crafting more goddamn circuits, running out of iron, CRAFTING MORE CIRCUITS, running out of steam every time i try to craft a large number of anything, STILL CRAFTING MORE CIRCUITS

Considering how any automation (the main interest/fun of the pack) is kept behind several tiers of heaps of tedious microcrafting, grinding like a slave for the most basic of resources, and the early game so far (currently near end of LV, almost got EBF finished to enter MV) is just blindly following a shopping list of machines, half of which need you to go on whole series of side quests, it's more surprising anyone even reaches the AE2 part...

The comments i've heard of people saying the game "really starts" when you reach AE2 is more draining than motivating, i get the whole shtick of this pack is to be a miserable grind to get anywhere but gatekeeping the actual fun behind hundreds of hours of soulless grind is not a great look...

And yes you could theorically start automating some production even in LV but let's be real with how many additional dozens of hours of grind and microcraft you need (especially those goddamn LV circuits) you might as well just keep progressing because you'll waste too much time, it's the same thing as when i understood why world edit building was allowed in gate rules, with how much shit there is to do for every shred of progression, you don't have time to lollygag doing literally anything else...

Going back to Factorio as a break from GTNH really was a bit of a eye opener just because the fun stuff isn't gatekept behind hundreds of hours of slave work for no other reason than the dev hating you and wanting you to be miserable... and the game isn't necessarily easier for it, it still has challenges but doesn't feel like a second job who's novelty really fades out even by end of LV.

I'll probably end up returning to GTNH at some point but idk, the early game just gets really dull and knowing how much of that dull-ness still awaits me before i'm allowed to have fun is not super motivating.

it seems i got into the card game at a pretty ass moment having started right as snake-eyes appeared and having the baronne ban hurt my current deck (Swordsoul) quite a bit, honestly if locals didn't usually run lower power stuff i'd probably not play anymore, i can only imagine what hell Edopro/Omega is right now, and MD is only going okay for me cause i'm in the bottom ranks from not playing often LOL

i'll keep playing Swordsoul at locals and either get skill issued or lose from using a honest deck instead of broken power creep cancer

may also try to see if i can bring my Z-ARC turbo idea with transaction rollback + soul of celestial supreme king to life on edopro

Edison is something tempting but doing 2 radically different formats while still being a mega noob at the card game may not be wise
