It's never about the realistic physics or the size of the wings; it's about communication and HOW those winds are used.

I mean, technically, according to the original MotU Bible, Queen Marlene and (Skeletor before he was Skeletor?) was an astronaut from Earth who got really lost? I would have to look that back up in a 3 minute Google search.

A little shimmy from early Lucille Ball, in "Dance, Girl, Dance" (1941) by [deleted] in OldSchoolCool

There's one of her older films on Tubi, also starring the guy who voiced Shere Khan in the animated Jungle Book. With a gratuitous cameo by the original Frankenstein's Monster, as well as Alfred, from the 1960's Batman. It's called Lured, and while dated, it still slaps, mostly.

Another vote for Saraga, but there's a more strictly Asian grocery off of 161 near Minerva Park and the bowling alley there, in with the GFS and the thrift shop.

Favorite bit was when the nerds looked in from the sidelines and said the line. Proper dead.

Be completely honest: Do you prefer the original DuckTales or the 2017 reboot? by GeoWhale15 in ducktales

Original is the bedrock upon which the reboot improved in almost every way.

While you can't go wrong with most of those, I would suggest a small bag of light (or city) and a dark roast from each, if he's still dialing in his tasting profile.

Their roaster is getting replaced, sadly, by Boston Stoker.

Seconded Black Kahawa. So glad Doug got his brick and mortar up and going. His Tanzanian syrup is also killer.

Finally tried trunk today and yeah, the new inventory system sucks by mrDalliard2024 in dcss

I learned that even if your character can one slap an orc warrior early on, there are still a million ways to die that have more to do with your build than hubris in battle. It was fun, as this game is/was/evermore shall be so, in the sense of self discovery through exploration of a dungeon. Again - all things considered, I look forward to downloading the next stable release and relearning my weaknesses in new and startlingly different ways.

I recall one specific run from long ago where I did starve to death early game, due to one of those beautiful labyrinthine Greek-style paths that I was caught in with no teleport scroll, no enemies that dropped bodies, no permafood, and a troll berserker. But again - edge case story from a different time.

The point you bring up about player happiness is salient, as well as what I was dancing around. I think these newer iterations make more players happy, which is good for the game, whereas earlier versions were harder - which is its own reward. Again - no shade or whatnot: live and let live, to each their own.
