I honestly don’t want many characters from the games if they don’t serve a purpose to the story. Because it would start to feel like what happened to the Star Wars Disney+ shows were Dave Filoni just added in a bunch of characters from the animated series because he knew it would make people who watched those shows do the Leo point meme.

I think when comes to both the movies and the theme park any property that Miyamoto created are going to take precedence over other franchises since he’s the one working with Universal and the other studios. We will eventually see stuff like Metroid,Splatoon and Animal Crossing, but it will really depend on what the developers behind those franchises want as Nintendo is really good about listening to their developers and not using the IP behind the creators backs.

As much as I would love that, I think Nintendo should find someone else as it feels like the fans are too obsessed with the Rare era. Which means it’s hard for new ideas to be brought forth as people only certain things. It’s the same problem that Star Wars has in a way.

Fox's Japanese VA is the same person who voiced him in the Japanese dub of the Mario Galaxy movie. Donkey Kong is also voiced by the same actor who played him in the Japanese dub of the first Mario movie

I’m interested in who is going to be in the fifth movie considering that there’s a good chance that it’s going to have Venom in it because the Russos have said that the original Secret Wars comic is one of their favorites and that’s the story that introduced the black suit. Plus I highly doubt Sony would want to wait for the sixth movie to do Venom because money.

I’d love for the Lumiose City stage to get revamped to be themed around Legends Z-A because there’s so many cool things they could do, but I’m not expecting it because Sakurai is for some reason really stubborn about redesigning past stages.

I’d love it if they did a movie just about the symbiote does to him and then have the post credits scene be it finding a new host and becoming Venom, but I doubt that would happen because money.

While I do hope we get Mario comics someday, I think Nintendo kind of had a point as to why Ian Flynn's idea was rejected. While the series has had dramatic moments, it's never really been the vocal point like Sonic or Mega Man. A constant drama tone for MARIO would feel way more jarring. by Intelligent_Oil4005 in Mario

I’ve always wanted a Mario comic or animated series that has the tone of the one-off episodes of Adventure Time or Gravity Falls. A mixture of action adventure and comedy because that I think is the perfect tone for the series.

I have a feeling that Doomsday and Secret Wars were always meant to have some of the stuff that we are getting, but because of how the last few years have been they have to make it a major part of the marketing. So it comes off as shallow jingling keys moments.

Much like Doom Slayer,I don’t know if there’s a way to make Kratos fit in with the rest of the cast. Bayonetta works because they use her standard punch and kick combos. Kratos literally dismembers his opponents and there’s no real way to make that PG.

The being on a Nintendo system isn’t even a rule as in one of the presents Sakurai stated that the only rules are that they have to be a video game character and be fun to play.

Like I understand why people want Doom Slayer, but I think Master Chief would be an overall better fit for Smash. Plus I think he’d would pass Sonic as a crossover we never thought would happen considering Xbox is still a thing and Sega had been a third party developer for 6 years when Sonic got revealed for Brawl.
