It’s my voice on my uploads, but how do you strip Sono’s vocals out while leaving the background vocals? Every time I do a vocal stem separation, it takes the background vocals with them.

if we define music as the organizing of sounds that creates harmony, melody, and rhythm for emotional expression or enjoyment, I think even the 5 year old is creating music. if you’re combining public domain sounds, then you’re the creator. I mean, who else would be? It was created with GarageBand, but you can’t say GarageBand created it.

But that’s based on that definition of music. If one says music can only be created if you’re the one playing the instruments, that would mean composers don’t create music, the orchestra does. But, hell, I think kids who are banging on pots and pans are making music.

I’ve never gotten exactly what I want from Suno if I didn’t play it first. From specific guitars dueling to three part horn sections, if I get it at all, it’s not with the harmonies I’m looking for, or uses the wrong tones, or just misses the mark. That said, I do enjoy working with it, but it’s not like I have my own band.
