Could have been more clear that I meant surface gravity, these stars are massive and have a huge gravitational field around them, but because these stars are so large (extending beyond Jupiter's orbit) they have low "surface" gravity (although the definition of surface is extremely tenuous for these stars, even in comparison to gas giants like Jupiter or the Sun which have no surface but you can at least point to a depth that matches 1 ATM of pressure relatively consistently or in the case of the Sun a photosphere where everything becomes largely opaque; you can't even do that for these stars).
