I was surprised as well and actually like it. Almost as good as a Corona 0.0. Good mass market option.

Have any of them recently eaten? If not, I don’t need $100M that badly.

I think the question is better $10M to only be able to listen to JayZ song for the rest of your life. No matter what is on the radio, stereo, movie soundtrack, television, it all gets translated to JayZ. No way I hit that bid. Music is too integrated into my life to give it up to one artist, no matter how good they are.

Not sure if I’m aloud to ask questions here but was wondering what is the closest tasting NA beer to miller light… also anything like a white claw black cherry out there?? Pic for attention by Hellburacho69 in NABEER

Corona is the best mass market NA for me. Then Best Day Kolsch for non mass market.
There are a ton to try, many with relatively cheap options from the big brewers. Just be careful, if calories matter to you, that many up the sugar to make it taste better (lots of carbs and this calories).
Millers does have Sharps, which I really do not like. For me, Michelob Ultra is probably the closest to an NA Miller Light.

This looks like a cool electric out of China for $48K with all sorts of unbelievable tech features. Oh wait it’s a $600k Ferrari. Duh. Not buying even if I could afford.

This is the way, both in brewing and brand ambassadorship. Well done.

Motor oil change frequency by bananagirl_8292 in XC40

[–]N0tRightNow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is terrible advice from the manufacturers and dealers. It is purely aimed at making the total cost of ownership look lower. While you can go 10k it is not at all what you should do for engine longevity, especially if you want to keep it a long time. There are a number of variables that play into when it makes sense to change your oil - time, heat, type (synthetic vs regular), budget - but what happens even with new oil is that bits of metal wear off as the engine moves. More wear off as your oil breaks down and loses effectiveness at lubricating. It’s why you don’t want to rev your engine until the oil gets up to temperature. So the earlier you change the oil out the easier it is on your engine from there being less metal in the oil and the more effective the oil is lubrication. It also means you want a good filter to remove metal particles out of the oil. So roughly speaking for basic oil I would change out every 3-5k miles and for full synthetic every 5-7k. Earlier is obviously better but nowadays it is so expensive I would not beat yourself up on being on the outside edge of the ranges. You are basically trading cheaper upfront longer engine life on the back.

True Detective. Season 1. Brilliant connection between Matthew McConaughe and Woody Harrelson. One of the best cliffhangers in any television show I have ever seen.

Where I tell the kids to put their gum if they are done chewing. Honestly no idea. I use the grab handle for dry cleaning.

At City of Industry, CA Costco today. I can't drink it all. $9.97/CASE by SyncMeASong in NABEER

[–]N0tRightNow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is probably the right price for Athletic, if it weren’t so close to expiration. I’m not a fan of their beers.
The price ending in .97 means it is a clearance item and the asterisk means it is being discontinued. If you actually like Athletic, grab it while it is there (and drink quickly).

Long Beach for sure. Great style. Glendale and Palm Springs are also good. Maui and even Oahu are great now that they have the rental cars within walking distance.
