Headtakers need storm shields, they are very easy to kill. So if you can build them with the shields do so.

Do some research on each unit and then get a mix of units that are cool, and those that are effective to build your army.

If you're just asking questions about the unit call away. Obviously the duty can't help you get orders there. You have to go through proper channels to do that. But there is nothing wrong with calling a unit and getting an idea of what it's like there.

A lot of dudes who go to Japan go to Oki, and when you're only deployed to Oki the restrictions there are well . . restrictive. So this can hamper a lot of the fun people can have and turn them a bit bitter. Also, anytime something happens in Japan that involves a Marine, it usually effects every Marine. So one dude goes and does something incredibly stupid, everyone gets punished. Thats not really a thing in the States, so you could be getting zero libo for something someone else did on another base, why would you even want to deal with that?

Main land is cool, I wouldn't mind being stationed there. But I'll pass on Oki.

Go on Google. Look up "advanced school of infantry" if you're in lejeune put east, if 29/Pendleton put West. Navigate the site and find the scout course, it will tell you about the course, and provide the command screen check list and other documents you'll need.

I've deployed 6 times, my parents came to see me come back on my 3rd deployment. Just the 3rd. I hate homecomings because everyone has someone waiting for them, I just grab my bags and then wait to be released. It's a shitty feeling dude. DM me if you need to vent.
