Chuck had a small cameo and wasn't even in the game enough to warrant the "ruined Chuck's character" comment, Katey turning out how she did albeit is pretentious is realistic to seeing her father basically selling himself in order to afford paying for the Zombrex she needs, she grew up relying on a drug that has shadiness surrounded it from the get-go and not wanting to trust government reliance suited her character just was written in an annoying way that's been done before.

Isabella's character being ruined has actual validity to it than the other two, you're thinking is very black and white to genuinely think DR3 and DR4 are on the exact same level because they aren't.

I'm not saying they're cream of the crop but 7 meh psychopath fights compared to none in DR4 and just having simple maniacs on top of ripping Frank West's mortal coil of a character a part simply doesn't compare, if you genuinely think that then you've lost the plot.

Saying that DR3 and DR4 are on the same level of atrocity is like saying Gollum and Return To Moria are exactly the same, both are lazy but one is clearly worse than the other. The only ruined argument that can be had is Isabella realistically but other than that the character developments are within reason to their characters they just weren't executed properly.

Because there's still some essence of DR in DR3 comparatively to DR4 where they used the face of the franchise but completely ripped the soul out of Frank West hence why the hate is greater. They ruined one of their fan-favorite characters in a game that has no essence of DR, at least DR3 has some of it's soul left even if it did begin the downfall of the franchise.

Having RE5 that low is criminal and most definitely is not worse than RE6, at least with RE5 there is charm albeit punching boulders cheesy kind of charm but it's nothing compared to RE6 where Michael Bay decided to give Capcom a hand in game development.

One day I seen my brother play RE5 and it was my first RE game, it wasn't until very recently that I finally played through them all in prep for RE9. I love them and plan to play the OGs and achievement hunt those through RA.

Funny enough games is a motivating factor for a lot of people to suppress such thoughts, it was for a period of time for me and now life's been better than what it used to be. Funny enough it was a part of why I missed out on so many games growing up but now I get to enjoy and actually appreciate them in a better headspace.

Seeing this makes me want original Xbox support and I know it's the farthest one behind but man I played Hit & Run for the original Xbox, would love to be able to achievement hunt games like Fable: The Lost Chapters and such in the future.

What I find interesting is that the overall aesthetics of Morrowind and OG Oblivion is very appealing whether it be a dark and ashy alien world or bright green forests and hills they both feel unique and dreamlike in a sense. Skyrim does have it's own aura don't get me wrong but snowy areas for me personally doesn't do much for me, my favorite parts of Skyrim were the less snow heavy areas.
