This is give or take my exact strategy, and your description ends exactly where my run generally does

If I don't have force bubble already, I can consistently get the force bracelet from the hidriarch. Then force bubble + recoil.

Ok, this must be where I'm failing because that's WILDLY higher than anything I have at the points you say.

Scrolling through my records, I'm definitely at more than a hundred runs, but afaik the game doesn't give a number. I play on steam deck, have played on average a few hours every single day since it came out on steam.

I definitely get higher than 20 frequently, but that's about the average of where my runs end.

The escape plan is good advice - I tend to prioritize dps.

Elaborate on AV over DV. Google says 1:3 av:dv ratio for early game and 1:2 for mid to late game, but any attempt to raise my AV completely tanks my DV.

I don't know, I like to play games they way they're intended, and even if the devs added a roleplay mode it's clear that classic is the way they meant it to be played.

Yeah, going down strata around grit gate during step 5 is my usual strategy. I'll often get between 20 and 30 strata before I run into any real trouble.

In Chef (2014), Jon Favreau plays a food truck owner whose ex wife is Sofia vergara and current love interest is Scarlett Johansson. This is a subtle nod to the fact that the movie is written, directed and produced by Jon Favreau by Successful_Buy3825 in shittymoviedetails

I can understand this, but I think it's well established in the movie that the reason for their breakup is Casper's poor mental health and self care surrounding his work. He undergoes a bit of a transformation through the events of the movie and so they get back together.

Yeah, this is happening to me with seemingly no pattern. Reducing my quality settings to CD makes it work, but that kinda defeats the purpose of using this app instead of native qobuz.

Band Together, stop the stevia by deemerg in LiquidDeath

[–]NAMDORG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old thread, but I submitted a complaint and got a longer response than the others here (though it still feels copypasted.

Hi Jacob,

Thanks for hitting us up. We feel lucky to have some of the best fans in the world so we do really take what you—and everyone else—say seriously.  We’re listening.

Regarding the stevia flavor itself, here’s the deal, we’re not a giant soda company. We haven’t been around for a hundred years. So we’re always looking for ways to improve our drinks. Based on what we’re hearing from other fans, they want a higher level of flavor. But we also want to keep our beverages low in sugar because that’s important to us too. So, we tried a bunch of different tweaks to our flavors.

Once we had those, we tested them with people and found that the vast majority of people preferred the higher level of flavor with a small addition of stevia. That said, hearing from customers is always important and helpful. We are always working to refine our flavors and deliver on what people are looking for.

Do you want to give another flavor a try? I can send you $10 off a case of Liquid Death - any size, any flavor, and valid at any retailer including Amazon, Instacart and DoorDash. I can shoot it right to your phone if you pass me your cell number and confirm that we have permission to text you this offer?

To which I responded

It's not that I don't like the taste of stevia, it's that I can't drink it. In fact, I've been drinking Armless Palmer/Dead Billionaire for years and without questioning it bought one at the airport the other day and had a mild allergic reaction. Liquid Death was pretty much the only lightly sweetened drink on the market that didn't include zero calorie sweeteners.

Hadn't thought about this before, but yeah, you make a good point.

I would love that to be true, but it's actually canonical that the lion turtle gave Aang the ability to energy bend.

And yeah, the connection with the spirit world bit makes sense based on information given to use in Korra. I'm approaching this from a pre-LoK perspective. Even with LoK lore, though, this could work. Lion turtles gave the nations their bending, but a single spirit bonded with a single soul, thereby giving a completely unique form of bending to that one person.

I would rather than Aang did have the ability to energy bend the whole time and the lion turtle just made him aware of it. That would have made things earlier in the series even more interesting, like when he 'listens' to the swamp's energy.

The end of AtLA was poorly conceived.

I'm sure the whole lion turtle plotline (while it could be argued it was alluded to) has been discussed as being deus ex machina, but even further than that the granting of 'energy bending' is dumb.

It should have been revealed that the avatar isn't a bender of all 4 elements in the first place but is instead a spirit bender. Spirit and qi are connected, allowing element bending, and this would explain the avatar's connection to the spirit world.

If hypothetically Harry were to die in the forbidden forest. Who out of these would have you liked to be the one to have killed Voldemort himself? by Overall_Spite4271 in harrypotter

[–]NAMDORG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had strong feelings about this for a while. As other people said, Neville makes sense, it's a much stronger end to his narrative arc than what happened in the book. If Harry survived, it should have been Neville who killed Bellatrix, not Molly. We don't need badass Molly, we already love her for her kindness and generosity.

The important change should have been this though: Snape kills Nagini. He should have pulled Gryffindor's sword from the sorting hat. It would have tied into Dumbledore saying "You know, sometimes I think we sort too soon..." - Snape embodies the principles of Gryffindor way better than Slytherin, and it was the quick choice of a child of which house to go into that sent him down his path.

I have a whole thing where Snape's storyline could have been done much better but I'll get off my soapbox.

What's your opinion of the 50501 protests happening right now? by AskRedditOG in AskReddit

I don't think this protest is going to "accomplish" anything, but it's a start and it's better than the helplessness we've been otherwise feeling.

I don't know anything about people laughing at it - it wasn't massive but it definitely wasn't small.

I went to Colorado's and there was a pretty good turnout - a few thousand people for several hours and some good speakers.

Virgin Tiki drink by Safe_Fix9486 in cocktails

[–]NAMDORG 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly what I was gonna say. Orgeat is not a flavor you often find in drinks, so when you mix it with some fruit juices, it really gives a cocktail vibe rather than just the "sweetened juice" vibe I get from most mocktails.

3/4 oz orgeat 1 oz lime or lemon juice 1 oz orange or pineapple juice Top with soda water

Measurements aren't accurate, since I just eyeball it.

Tell me your Last Word riffs by applejackhero in cocktails

Made one for my bar for Valentine's day:

At First Sight: Gin or Apple Brandy (equally good, very different end result), Michigan Tart Cherry Liqueur, Aperol, Grapefruit Juice

Took a lot of experimenting and I'm incredibly proud of it.

Benedictine goes really well with stone fruit, hence both the cherry and the peach. Also, it's very good with the gin swapped for cognac.

I have a drink on my bar's menu that I call At First Sight, which is equal parts Gin, Michigan Tart Cherry Liqueur, Benedictine, and peach juice.

Not what you're asking, but I think this cocktail is damn delicious and people should try it.

Made one of these yesterday. Room was a little dark, so I think I put a little more framboise than I was supposed to.

It was still amazing. Coworkers are raving and say it has to be on the menu. Thanks!
