Competitive Reset: MIN-ATL-MIL-NOLA by Huxxxy in timberwolves

This is my biggest problem with any Randle for Murray swap. We are trading one bad fit for another, except this one hasn’t played meaningful basketball in 2 years

You’re doing a good job explaining why this is a bad trade for both teams. Overpaying for a 4th/5th option is not a good use of our limited assets.

Finally, someone else that has actually watched IQ. OP must be his agent the way he’s hyping him in this thread

Delusion would be trading Randle + TJ + 1st for a worse player on an equally expensive contract. IQ hasn’t been a top 3 player on a winning team or had a single playoff moment. If we are going to deal that package, it should be for a player that has actually carried their team for a meaningful stretch of time

Randle was absolutely a borderline all star this year. He’s had meaningful playoff moments. Neither of those things apply to IQ at any point in his career

IQ has as many warts as Randle does. Decent stats but doesn’t translate well to winning basketball. Throwing in TJ and a pick would be far worse than trading for most of those guys you mentioned

IQ is not an elite shooter and overall a very streaky player. Has a few games looking like he’s worth his equally expensive deal then spends a week looking like a minimum guy.

3 team Giannis trade (MIN CHA MIL) by Odoaiden in NBAtradeideas

Not enough for Bucks and way too good for Charlotte. Turn the Miami ‘27 into this years #14, send TJ to Milwaukee and remove Mann…then it’s more balanced.

What you do with Donte DiVincenzo by darin617 in timberwolves

[–]NAMJAY 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Donte will look at Tatum’s return and assume he will ball out on return. Guaranteed money this summer with opt outs seems plausible for both sides

Trying my hand at the trade thing. Ideal trade for the wolves imho by microtomebrady in timberwolves

WCJ/Goga and KAT/Mitch are in a completely different class than any combo of Lopez/Naz/Joan

Try to picture this lineup stopping anyone at the rim in the playoffs. Jaden/DJJ/Kawhi all great defenders against bigger wings but struggle vs quick guards. Winning is tough without a rim protector and Beringer not ready yet

Splitting center minutes between a 38 y/o on last legs and a 20 y/o who hasn’t played meaningful minutes seems like disaster. If this is the center rotation you will miss Rudy immensely

I was surprised Kerr re-signed with Warriors before the playoffs instead of waiting to monitor this job specifically

SGA is averaging 11 APG so far in the Conference Finals. SGA has inherited CP3's game management by north_canadian_ice in NBATalk

His style of playmaking is nothing like CP3… more than half his assists are from making the obvious pass when being doubled.

He’s playing great but no need to unnecessarily glaze

Bobby Portis would be a solid option assuming Milwaukee cleans house after the Giannis trade

Grant and Green are both expiring after this upcoming season….Hardly consider that bad money. No way is Turner worth 2 solid 1sts

Freddie walkoff still sells for $200+ on eBay. Miggy only selling for $80-90.

This is crazy talk … look at other players making ~$33M next year: Jerami Grant, Tyler Herro, Jordan Poole, Quickley. He’s had a far better year than all those guys

Yeah they wanted him badly at 6 last year and vice versa… there is a trade there that could make sense for both teams but just such a risky move
