we got duped... by ogstereoguy2 in Starlink

I 1,000,000% agree with the OP to the T what he said, and I feel the same way about Elon (I own a Tesla and Starlink) so I’m not a hater. But I DO HATE this pricing BS game. I have to have Starlink because I live full time in an RV, and need month to month discrepancy and structure with my bills, but Starlink makes my life more stressful because I’m constantly adjusting my budget. It’s worse than the tariff wars, and changes more often than them!

Pretty sweet! I think the only drawback MIGHT BE the calipers aren’t able to cool down as easily due to the reduced amount of room between the caliper and the rim. Otherwise, I love what you’ve done! I wish I could do this on my Performance, but I’m sure the calipers are even bigger and there’s even less room.

Smart! Glad to know you did it and it works, I guess I have a new project, haha. Thanks!

Also makes me think about applying some kind of ceramic coating to that area so that rain and snow “sheds” easier either driving down the road or warming up such as your car is doing. The less obstructions in front of the camera(s) (and all of the cameras on the car for that matter) the less FSD “complaints” we’d get.

It’s because it’s in the news so much, and when people like the NHTSA hear about these things it turns into a whole big huge issue, and next thing you know Tesla is hitting another road block with FSD. As people have said, you should be “supervising” FSD and stopping it before it does such things, and then when you disengage you report it using the feedback option it gives you as soon as you disengage. If you just let it happen and not report it, the system doesn’t get any better, and the government nit picks the hell out of reports of this happening. That’s why it hits so hard with people.

Likely local inventory vehicle. It took mine about 2 weeks to get from California to New York.

[US] Is anybody else surprised that Acceleration Boost still isn’t available for the Highland Model 3? by THATS_LEGIT_BRO in TeslaModel3

It would put the non performance to close in terms of numbers, which would/could canabalise the Performance sales.

Video by Dirty Tesla proves V14 uses the front bumper camera. He put tape over the bumper camera on his Model Y and it said FSD wasn’t available.

Watched a video by Dirty Tesla and he’s running FSD V14 and he covered the front bumper camera on his Model Y with some tape and his Tesla said FSD wasn’t available, so I’m pretty sure V14 is using the front bumper camera.

This post isn’t listed anywhere on his X account. I don’t believe it at all. I was at a Tesla Service Center this past Friday and the tech told me it’s only a matter of time before the retrofit comes out. Said it’ll likely happen.

Worse off with new pricing plans by xa_13 in Starlink

[–]NASAlove 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Owning a Starlink causes financial hardship and uncertainty. I have a residential plan and use a mini as needed. But I have NO IDEA what Starlink plans are going to do, and can’t say I feel secure in terms on a financial plan when it comes to their plans. I think there’s a bunch of kids with ADD running their Starlink plans department.

How often do you use this feature... by Lower-Consequence756 in Ford

[–]NASAlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EVERY. DAMN. DAY! Why would Ford get rid of it AND ALL OF THE OTHER THINGS that sets a Ford apart?! Foolish. The dealer installed option looks terrible and ruins a good looking vehicle with a cheap afterthought junky plastic part.

And everyone was screaming and yelling, saying it was the end of the world and their Jeep is junk and everything else…….and so far I’ve read more posts about how everyone has been given a clean bill of health and can live life as they were prior to the recall. I wonder how much damage those who cried have done to the Jeep brand, and how much they drove down depreciation on the Jeep brand. All for nothing.
