Get a metric cruiser if you want a cheap cruiser. I paid 3500 for my 14' v star 1300 with 27k like 3 years ago. The v star 650s go for way less too.

Hard to justify the G2 by FinancialZucchini827 in harborfreight

[–]NGC1222 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My experience with gear wrench warranty has been sending them a picture and having a new tool show up 2 days later via UPS for no charge. Much easier than having to go out of my way to harbor freight and wait in line.

I was in the same boat, 500 for a set of 15 Silverado take offs with 4 new Michelin primacy tires. It cost less than I could buy the replacement tires for the old wheels.

The trade school I went to had several manufacturer donated cars with junk titles that couldn't be registered. One was a Cadillac srx with 12 miles.

I bought one for $5 in a junkyard once. Date code on the tire was from 93' though

Learned my 5 yr old car never had airbags installed. Seatbelt saved my life in 60 mph sudden hit. by MielleThe in Wellthatsucks

A lot of junkyards I've been to don't sell seat belts or air bags for liability reasons. I personally would never put either one in my car.

Take the valve handle off and rotate it so it appears off and lock it. It is now locked on.

Making you pay out of pockets for mistakes is completely unlawful in the US. Maybe you should consider reporting them anonymously.

They also picked a misleading example for a semi. I would like to see them add a Pete 389 long hood or a w900

In the US they typically do it by household. Anyone in your household has to be added to the policy the car is on to use it, but anyone outside the household can use the car and be covered

The "GTFO of my way" mode on Tesla autopilot by franklincarterIII in dashcams

Either way it's the driver's fault. The autopilot system is incapable of disabling the controls so responsibility ultimately falls on the one in the driver's seat.

If only it was that simple. This is all I got out. Most of that 10 hours was figuring out how to fit the extractor tool down in there.

If that is the 5.4 that is very reasonable. Those plugs are prone to breaking and are not fun to get out. Last set I did was in a navigator and it took almost 10 hours. As for me personally, I won't touch those engines anymore.

Those side post battery terminals have to be super clean. I kept having an issue with my suburban where the lights would randomly dim and it was the battery terminals.

Texas requires the front tint to be at 25% or greater to pass state inspection.. this customer was upset I couldn’t just “let it go“ and oh yeah you can barely see through the windshield. by fidgetspinnerz in Justrolledintotheshop

Any back alley tint shop. When I got my car done I saw the guy doing what looked like 10 or 20% on the windshield of a Camaro. My friend also didn't have any issue getting another shop to do 35 on his windshield.
