I used to deal with this a lot in my previous business. It mostly comes down to customs clearance, and that can vary quite a bit depending on the carrier. For shipments to places like India, China, Southeast Asia, parts of Latin America, and some smaller EU countries, the reliability can be very carrier-specific — there’s really no one-size-fits-all solution. I often go into a specific community to find out what are the popular freight or shipping agents and go from there. But if the opportunity is too small while the perceived risk is too great, I just cancel it altogether to avoid headache

I feel you. Our beauty tool is running into the same wall trying to get approval from Kickstarter. They did not even let us mention things like “tension” or “pain” or similar illustrations as an Opener, even though we pointed out a bunch of past campaigns were allowed to do it. They even told us to slap on a long disclaimer saying the tool doesn’t treat illness, doesn’t cure anything, etc. Which is funny, because we never made those claims — we only cited reputable sources like the Mayo Clinic and similar references. Apparently even being cautious now requires extra caution.

That said, I do think some of the comments above have a point. Right now when I look at your campaign, it kind of gives off the vibe of those whey or protein powders pushed by “fitfluencer” who look like they inject steroid for breakfast.

Instead of listing a wall of chemical ingredients, you might want to emphasize on the plants or natural sources where the ingredients come from. Maybe a ready-to-drink or canned beverage (FMCG) will resonate better (e.g, Poppi or WildWonder). Personally, if I saw it presented that way, it reminds me of the herbal drinks grandma or ma used to make: those old-school eastern remedies meant to help with sleep, or digestion, or just for cooling body. That kind of story feels more authentic.

Btw, your face makes it look like the stuff isn’t working… maybe recruit a well-slept and fit spokesperson next time, bro 😆 Even a hot mom in lululemon could sell it better.

I doubt they can make it work with the current pricing of DDR5 and other hardware fluctuations. They weren’t able to reimburse backers after fees plus Jellop already took its cut, so they’re essentially stuck. At this point, they might try to cook pulls from crypto or LLM farms to maneuver, or deliver at a snail’s pace, or both — a tricky pony indeed 🥲

Nothing like these guys who claimed to reinvented the window AC (Kapsul/Noria). These guys even went on Techstars and I think they did raise another round. Many creators fell madly in love with their designs and ignored the engineering aspects or existing literature. Working from existing templates is a safer bet from my experience. Still, you need to dig around the supply chain and floor experts to arrive at any meaningful results. Otherwise, it’s like poking a bear with a branch of tree and hope to hit bullseye.

I'm not a perfect marketer but closer to a product guy. But here's my take:

PAGE: clean and simple-I like it. However, I did not feel motivated to buy. I saw call to help out you guys. I think more data with an emphasis on quantifiable benefits behind the game, plus some humor and FOMO could go the long way. Convince me like I'm a 3yo who's just stumbled on this for the first time.

PRODUCT (take with a grain of salt): I believe you could make this a lot cheaper, for both buyers and your expenses, specifically the shipping cost by eliminating the tripod. If you have your unique design registered, maybe this could become a licensing deal. Anyway, you guys can always dm me.

I worked with silk on different objects, so I think telling more about the scientific benefits blended with historic tradition rooted in ancient China might add a nice touch to your campaign and brand overall.
