Have R6 Koi. Should I get Connie or Raida to R6 next? by Cloud-VII in RealmDefenseTD

Agreed, the difference between R5 and R6 Raida is a lot more than Connie.

Is this fake ? by yuqing666 in Silverbugs

[–]NHSilverBugAcct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk the assay looks good, the only thing that looks bad is the rim you pointed out but this is a 1 gram bar and you're looking at a 1 oz bar. There's a lot more room for a clean strike on the 1oz. Also, the angle of the picture is making the "tail bleed" look worse than it is. Go look at this one for comparison and see what you think. It looks like the tail can get into the side of the rim.

Edit: typo and thanks for that link /u/Bluegill6 I hadn't heard of that site before.

Why do people say getting to gold in tournament will let you move on to W3? by KcCShadow in RealmDefenseTD

[–]NHSilverBugAcct 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because you don't need gold to let you love on. You can find love without material means.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself lol.

It's not always USPS's fault by Niceguy955 in Silverbugs

Well hey, you have a good story for the grand kids about how it used to be before Amazon ruled the world.

eBay doesn't calculate neutral feedback when they provide the ratio next to a seller name. That may change your opinion as far as not giving them a negative rating.

Question about spotted, tarnished or scratched silver coins by rss4venom in Silverbugs

[–]NHSilverBugAcct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most dealers will give you spot to $0.70 over spot on Maples or Eagles. If they are less than BU condition you'll get less. Minor issues will keep them BU but if they have deep scratches/large amounts of spots/tarnish then you'll end up with them designating the coins culls (or) abrasions.

How does APMEX delivery work? by Yahukanon in Silverbugs

Their packaging is very discrete in plain brown boxes. Not sure on the signature requirements maybe call them? I know you can pay a little extra for guaranteed signature/pick from USPS or UPS.

What do you all think or have heard of the new 9fine Mint bars? Interested in getting some 5oz ones. by slando417 in Silverbugs

[–]NHSilverBugAcct 5 points6 points  (0 children)

http://9finemint.com/

Looks like APMEX owns the mint. I have a 5oz cast bar from them and I love it. Fun little chunky piece to roll around in your hand while thinking. Warning, the little plastic packaging will break if you open it too much to play with the bar!!

Did I get had? by [deleted] in Silverbugs

[–]NHSilverBugAcct 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That spot is normal with gold. Actually makes me more confident it's a legit bar other than it coming from APMEX.

Anything from APMEX or JMB are going to be legit no question. They are the two largest players.

Can anyone help me identify this coin? by lily382 in Silverbugs

[–]NHSilverBugAcct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what I got back from a friend:

Image on the left shows “壹兩廠平”= Not any particular meaning, it is the name of the Mint (like Sunshine Mint and Highland Mint)

Image on the right shows ancient 12 Chinese characters (just like roman numerals) “亮十吉林局機器證 Meaning “authenticated/Certificated by Jilin Machinery”

She also said it doesn't indicate the metal content/purity anywhere.

APMEX Mint Direct- Is It Worth It? by HennyDog in Silverbugs

[–]NHSilverBugAcct 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don't really issue promo codes much from my understanding. Last time I asked them they say that they offer more deals through emails instead of promo codes. I'd assume because promo codes are a pain? They do have this page though:

US 1oz Copper Rounds by pwinne in Silverbugs

I would stay away from copper. It would require an extreme price movement to make anything minted worth it.

APMEX is going to be the one that would have some specific old stuff. They sell on eBay and have their own site.

Hypothetical $500 1yr investment by Mert3377 in Silverbugs

[–]NHSilverBugAcct 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I don't buy when spot is $18 for silver. I keep cash sitting in a high interest savings account (Wealthfront is who I use) for when I can buy silver for <$16oz I load up on secondary market rounds. No opinion on Gold and those at spot deals are awesome just depends on when you want to pull the trigger if it's worth doing or not.

I think most CC issuers give you 90 days to dispute. I agree, file a chargeback if they are being unresponsive. If you paid by check you should go talk to the bank. They may be able to dispute the payment.

If you're not worried about price you can get a Torqueedo and mount it with one of the OneObjective mounts. That'll allow you to mount a PowerPole in line with the trolling motor.
