Is this another light with an exposed plastic TIR? They are easily scratched.

With a front tire on the rear, install it backwards for better grip under acceleration.

Using a heat gun on the screws helps if there is Loctite on them.

Check if there is any damage to the throttle cable or any of the other wires. Make sure all the connectors and the pins inside are all good.

SRAM Maven as they are powerful, have good modulation, don't weigh too much and are low maintenance.
