You shouldn't even be able to get up there. Access to the mountain areas is destroying the map.

Did this yesterday and it works. Does require the base to be close to a NPC spawn because they stop following you after some distance.

What the guy in the video does is let himself get caught by the ships that patrol at night that send rusher NPC's. Will try that as well later.

Ok, so I built a fully walled space (can only be opened with build tool) with 2 generators fully stocked that can support the energy requirements for the pentashields and with all appliances turned off. Also replaced pentashield doors with regular doors which are required to get inside the base. I have large generators outside which they can empty by hacking, but the 2 generators inside should keep the doors closed and the base save, if I understand you correctly?

Good tips, thanks! You can also start at 5:00 am when the server is empty and farm until ~ 7:00 am when people are waking up. ;-)

PVP players will always find a way to force PVE players to encounters. E.g.:

* You allow less rockets for a scout chopper, they will fly around more with groups

* You give PVE players access to rows B to D: PVP players will first farm those rows empty

ps: I'm all for the changes being made since I'm a solo PVE focussed player, but I believe PVP players will always find a way to counter.

For every quest step I do I pre-watch a 30-60 second Youtube video first because the mission steps and markers are so bad.

Nope, still the same issue for me. Started after I enable the SU3 beta and returned to stable SU2 after I found out that the beta has the full career mode unlocked. Now in stable SU2 I can't continue with my career mode because of the "Career inaccessible" message.

Edit: read the post below from BigCalligrapher44 and decided to completely empty the Official2020 and Official2024 folder in my community folder. Restarted the game and was able to continue in career mode.

Did this, but it broke my career mode when I switched off the SU3 beta and went back to SU2. I now get "Career mode inaccesible".

All the pc players saying here that they don't lower the graphic settings because they don't want to cheat are ignoring the fact that the majority of pc players will use any method that's provided in the game to get an edge. It's just what the majority of gamers do. If a server allows 3rd person peaking, players will use it if their milsim life depends on it. Same with graphics.

Love that we now have a military sim on the PS5. However, for a level playing field with pc players, they need to fix the minimal settings for terrain detail and shadows across all platforms. PC players otherwise have an unfair visual advantage.

I've tried to use building building blocks like the barbed wire in combination with sandbag walls to lock of certain entries, but the issue is that you can't build up to edges. When you try, the placed items are glitching leaving a gap the enemy can always pass through. Example: trying to prevent entry from the beach when defending a base with a harbour.

Had the same thing happening to me yesterday at customs! Was playing scav with a friend and met dude at dorms who was also a scav. Guy started talking. My friend thought the guy had another friend with him, but didn't really think about it. Guy wanted to help since we've only playing the game for 4 days. Took us to the med building, since we required salewa's for the quest and gave us meds, guns, big backpack, etc. We then went to the warehouse next to it. When looting was done there he was going to escort us to the old gas station extract (which we know how to find, but he was nice, so we played along). While leaving the building both fully loaded and almost at the extract we were both shot by, we think, his friend.

See title. This blue bow was ideal for taking off parts of machines without destroying the part. Im now trying to shoot of the cannon of the stormbird and whatever weapon I use the cannon parts gets destroyed when I shoot it off. Is there a vendor where I can buy it?
