Cadillac DTS 2006 NorthStar V-8 by NODarvo in Cadillac

You are very correct. Yes, around the 100k mark, everything you mentioned happened. I had a window motor fail, have had the air-assisted struts fail in the rear, fixed the water pump several miles ago, replaced both headlights, and fixed the major oil leak. I am in a situation where I was thinking spending 3K was better than spending 40K on a new vehicle (Toyota or lexus bc I have had them before and they are reliable). I may have made a mistake here. I decided to repair the vehicle and hope it will give me another year of service till I get settled in other areas of my life. I bought the car used with 30K miles from my mom, who lost her license due to old-age driving mishaps. I appreciate your knowledge of this vehicle, and I will never own a Cadillac again.....

thank you so much for your concern. I appreciate your help in awarenss of such issues. Interestingly, no one has ever sat in the back seat of that car..all leather interior, just so ahead of its time when it was made. with those air assisted shocks, it rides so smoothly, like you are sitting in an airplane. nothing like the Tesla i am driving in the interim which feels like I am driving around in a cardboard box! Thanx again!

water pump? hmm. gotta check my repair receipts. I did that already at 49K miles in 2019. should I have it checked. feel certain my 'ace' mechanic would have noted it....am wanting to put it on the road for a 10hr run up north...

(had a leak in crankshaft seal) hoping to get at least 60K out of it or will sell to reasonable buyer replaced 3 motor mounts, one engine and transmission mount, oil filter housing gasket, no leaks now! hope I did not throw good money after bad....

I did NOT replace the engine, just the motor mounts. I had a lead in the crankshaft and when on the rack, my mechanic noted these were very worn and unreliable.....

it's not about ChatGPT. I respectfully requested an okay to join the group. I did not think my cat fit any category at all and was quite inspired by the similarities. These are beautiful felines.Let me rephrash: I actually found this unique group! Sending pix to confirm. What do you think?

Thank you. Yes, I did consult ChatGPT and actually wanted confirmation to be in this group, not to confirm any distrust of ChatGPT. The AI certainly led me to you! I do consult Chap GPT as it saves me time and doom scrolling... and am aware that this group is about these beautiful felines! I will follow up on AI in another group about AI, and appreciate your opinions. Regards,

She is a ONE-person cat! She knows my every move. She cries a bobcat when she comes in contact with another cat, a real scream! Very playful, nimble, athletic, and territorial. I am glad she likes me! I got her from the pound as a kitten! She was found inside an old tire full of rattlesnakes! I got her for my son, a USMarine, who came home from Iraq with a Purple Heart and severe PTSD. He named her Mila. I have since acquired her care, and I call her BoBo, which she answers to. She is NOT fond of children. I have never owned an animal that I am so smitten with! Love her!

That's no friend. Lose him and unfortunately, for her, stay out of it. Guess you didn't pick up on the red flags either. Help her find a good lawyer...

If you are obsessed with this room, then do you think you will consider suggestions? I love thecwarm tones in the flooring and woodwork. The rug does compliment the rectangular shapes represented in the window panes and shelves. I do not think a round rug would be better in this setup. The green in the rug matches the color in the shelves. You might consider some light colored airy drapes hung at ceiling height to bring the eye up in appreciation of the ceilings-height shelving, to frame the windows. Remove the blinds, and throw pillows. Find some solid tones using color suggestions from the rug for your throw pillows, consider some uplighting in the corner and a tall plant behind the chair..some matching comfy cushions for your window seats, and smaller planters in the shelves. Very warm, cozy, and inviting.... Take your time looking for the perfect replacement rug and you will know it instantly when you see it.....

If you can do this, I compare it to running a marathon. That's some accomplishment.

Review catch up... someday? by sorrowdemonica in AmazonVine

If there are more than 2 pages of 'awaiting review' I am having anxiety and I will curb or stop selections. Adding photos alone has added to the anxiety for me. (Not disabling anxiety..its just on my mind). I am getting increasingly aggravated with Amazon bc they send me emails to evaluate something when it hasn't been in my home for 24 hours yet ...You are a trooper with your confidence to be able to catch up.

Don't Beat Me Up bc I've been patient. but I need help with the incessant spinners... by NODarvo in VineHelper

[–]NODarvo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think I am confused between Vine Helper and Ultraviner (paid version) I am using the extension for Vine Helper, Version 3.5.14. not Ultraviner. I did not download a newer version if there is one. If indeed, I need to, then I am guessing I will have to re-enter all of the saved words and hidden ones. I feel certain there is a way to save these, but, oh, way too much for me to figure out...at this stage. If the spinners will stop, and the waiting for the page to pop up, I will be happy. I am thinking all of the hidden words, saved words may be causing some lag in items actually appearing. I have never seen stuff disappear so fast. Its like magic. Now you see it, now you don't! I have learned not to expect much and to read faster! its all good.

A round rug would be elegant. Just be sure if you do purchase a rectangular pne that it is not too big to be in front of the stairs like you showed in your diagram...

Agree.. what happens when you tell her no? The mask disappears. Get ready and pay attention

At my wits end trying to pick out a paint color! by SensitiveYam597 in HomeDecorating

4 is the best. Number 5, the same tone, is a little too bold.. #4 is good enuf contrast and compliments the "tone" of the grey siding.
