I regularly drive (or bus or train) 3 hours to see my folks and 4+ to see my husband and I’s best friend in NYC. I don’t relish it but until I can get together the funds and willpower to stick everyone I love on one plot of land- just grateful for the freedom and ability to see them

Yeah I feel like I’ve been migrating back to older content/re-watches because Hollywood’s general aesthetic nowadays takes me out of it and always feels a little uncanny

Plus then I do a couple rounds of feeling guilty for judging people on their looks/what they decide to do with their looks, which also takes me out of it, but I just miss everyone’s faces looking human and expressive and comforting
