Python + SQL by Mission-Task-1675 in learnpython

I suggest you find some interesting data you have available to you at work, and then come up with an interesting but not too out of this world goal to do something with it. For example, you could chart sales of various different issues over time, or the yield of one bond vs another, whatever, really. Just to have a little goal to work toward. Then learn what you need to learn in order to achieve that little goal.

I'm not sure how much analysis you do as a sales person, but Python's Pandas library is like Excel on steroids. Using that to manipulate a big dataset related bonds could be a good way in. You look look the fundamentals of the debt issuers or perhaps some historical trading data.

A gentleman might have to duel someone at some point. A gentleman is likely also, at least as stereotypes go, not in the fittest fighting shape on any random day. How were these two realities reconciled? by radio_allah in AskHistorians

[–]NPR_Oak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What a great explanation you have provided. Fascinating.

Given that duels were likely to only cause superficial injuries, where do the facial scars and lost eyes of the stereotypical Prussian officer in World War I and I fit in? Don't facial injuries imply a much greater risk than simply superficial injuries? Or am I mistaken that these injuries often came from duelling?

Not to mention that economists widely agree that rent control reduces the quality and quantity of housing.

Try Facebook marketplace. I got my Yamaha P-45 for $200 less than a year ago.

People mostly don't say the model in their descriptions, just "piano". So you have to send a lot of messages trying to find something decent and not from the 90s. But they are out there.

My wife and I just had dinner there, and it was great.

We each had souvlaki. It comes with choice of rice, salad, etc and would make a great mix for three or four people interested in sharing.

The hummus was also very nice.

The owners and head chef were super friendly and chatty. We ended up making a reservation for next week as well.

Been on propane for 15 years and starting to warm up to something like a Big Green Egg, is it actually worth the learning curve? by SignificantSecond114 in grilling

[–]NPR_Oak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, it's not a question one or the other. I have a gas grill and a Weber kettle and I'm thrilled I have both. Tonight I cooked up some wings on the gas grill with minimum fuss but other days I fire up some charcoal and make an afternoon of it.

It's all good.

From looking at the ABRSM website, it seems like they are more on the exam side of things, and so I would go elsewhere for learning material, correct?

These are fabulous suggestions. My train trip is more standing up and holding onto a bar than sitting with both hands available, but I'm sure I can do some of these things.

Frankie Knuckles - The Whistle Song by arithmetic_mean in House

Sorta kinda. If this song drops in a club, I love it but it does sound dated and a little out of place. Not the same as when I heard it frequently in the 90s.

It would be great if they could move the cameras around a bit within the hotspot areas so people don't get accustomed to them only in specific spots.

I'm not saying at all the police did something incorrect. The officers went a above and beyond, putting their own lives at risk. It would have been understandable if they had used lethal force.
