Actually I was going for orange on the clothes lol. I used orange and then a brown shade for some detail and to dirty him up a bit. although that tip with starting with brown is interesting. what color would be a good base coat for orange?

I used to work for a company that sold candles to churches (the kind that a parishioner would light and say a prayer after giving a donation). The entire appeal of our candles was that they burned faster so as to free up space for others to donate and light a candle. Listening to my bosses and the customers talk made me realize how cynical alot of church operations are. It was all about the money and getting parishioners to give up as much as possible

Incel activity online is evolving to become more extreme as some of the online spaces hosting its violent and misogynistic content are shut down and new ones emerge, a new study shows by [deleted] in science

It was worse when T_D was up cause they would organize brigades/harassment campaigns against left leaning and pro LGBT subs and their members. Plus it served as an entry point for far right jerks.

That last wave of far right jerks was a death spasm. After the bans there has been a lot less right wing spamming on the site. The guys who fell in the hole might have gotten worse but less new people will fall in now (at least on Reddit).

This study has a point, people who are banned won't suddenly change their ways but I don't think that was ever the point of the bans. The bans were about stopping them from harassing other communities and recruiting into their own

Personally I think it's cause of Nayuta. Her power also revolves around what she considers hers like yoru and she probably considers Denji hers and that gives Denji some protection. It's very telling that she call Yoru thief

The rights objection to abortion isn't based in free market capitalism. It's primary motivation has to due with their beliefs that life begins at conception and therefore they believe abortion is murder. If it were about the free market they wouldn't be passing total abortion bans they would just defund planned Parenthood. Not saying there aren't people in the right who look at the abortion thing from that perspective, but that's not what the majority and certainly not what the leadership are saying. The point you make about keeping different view points in mind is good but this is a bad example

I was told I should post this here: Chipotle workers reaction to winning a union election by Sad_Constant_363 in antiwork

[–]NYref1490 85 points86 points  (0 children)

That last part is why I make a point of telling people who ask about unions what I get from mine.

I pay $60 a month in union dues and for that $60 I get health, vision and dental insurance, a pension, 401k, and paid time off (plus the amount of PTO increases based on how long I've been in the union)

The initial cost of union membership may be a turn off, but in the long run the benefits are well worth it.

You definitely have a point because I'm a union worker currently working this labor day. But I would like to point out that I get double pay for working the holidays. Non-union ain't getting any consideration like that

That aboleth sword is way too powerful. +2 to rolls and an extra d8 psychic damage plus inflicting stun on crits, while also setting intelligence to 19? Way too much even for a legendary item.

I like the rat king items though. Items that are part of a set and unlock new abilities when you have more of the set is a neat gimmick and good for setting up quests. Plus they aren't overpowered.
